The 2026 team was AAA in HOCO and YES would not even be close. |
I'm glad you brought up HoCo. Because the 2025 Cavs team was in AAA, and 2025 VLC team played in a lower division. I'm not sure there's a big difference at the youth team level between the two programs. |
| Yeash. Let's not call Cavs anything but another travel team option for kids for Loudoun and NoVA. |
|
The Cavs 2025 is better than the VLC team which has been around for less than a year.
Every other Cavs team - youth or HS - would get destroyed by VLC. If you don't think there's a big difference between Cavs' 23, 24 and 26 team and VLC's, you are smoking something. |
| I am sure the VLC guys are thrilled to see how good the CAV 2025 team is playing. After all the top players will go to VLC by 8th grade if not sooner. |
Absolutely, just like the best talent from VLC all dip for better clubs. |
Total lie. They lose like 1 kid a year to other clubs. |
The funny thing about CAV dad going back and forth with VLC dad is that at one time they were both CAV dad. |
Cavs 2025 got completely thrashed in HoCo. 1 and 6. Kudos to them for playing up but very unclear that their coaches know how to help them get better for next year (even assuming they don’t lose any more good players). |
Last year Cavs 2025 lost three kids to MadLax and VLC plus two others to other clubs. |
| The VLC apologist who appears in multiple posts above writes like and sounds like a pro PR person. Did they tap a parent in the industry or actually hire someone? |
They lose a few kids a year to cuts. |
The cuts end up at Cavs, Next Level, or Top caliber |
| Was a VLC team just highlighted on ESPN? |
| 2020 didn't do well at Naptown. Were they missing players? |
