Found a condom in my husband's car

It's like poker, shouldn't have showed your hand. Now you only have the predictable lies he was going to tell you, and are no further along. If you sleep with him you could end up in a Herpes support group or worse. Here's what a lady I know did. She knew he cheated once before and decided to stay and give him one more chance because of kids and finances. The red signs came in, and she immediately followed him after work with a friend. Found out who the woman was, and Kept her mouth SHUT. She started socking money away, and over the next year got herself in a great position, better job etc. She slowly started selling some of his stuff he wouldn't miss, or if he did would think he mis-placed it. Work tools, sports equipment, dead mothers jewelry..lol...you get the picture.

*Oh and this is the funny part, she acted extra nice to her husband, and started telling him she's getting hang up calls during the day etc. making it look like the mistress is dong that. She waited a month, and said she got a pair of thongs in the mail with no return address. Ask him if he sent them, and she made sure to look confused. Well, of course he started fighting with the mistress thinking she is doing all this. They had 2 kids, and married for 10 years so he probably didn't want to see half the assets gone, and him paying child support.

Sorry long story, but her situation worked out well because she was determined and did something about her circumstances. Today she is remarried because she met a nice guy, and her ex is living in a rental paying a lot of child support....so much for cheaters. KARMA.

I can only suggest you start being smart, and think about your future. Once someone cheats it's over no matter how long you stay.

The biggest blame goes to the husband who had the vows, but also the person who had no business breaking up a family.

I see some women giving the husband the pass, and I shake my head because he'll continue to cheat but try harder to not get caught.

Ladies why you should always spot check him. Before work and after, not their electronics because that won't give you a visual. Best to get proof before you bring it up or accuse him. I think it's easy to catch a cheater. Time gaps, excuses to leave the house, working late. ....follow him. We caught my friends husband right at her house, took my car.

Kind of stupid, he was always a hour late from work; a hour lol. Oh then we was going in early, yeah right.

Lol, what a nutjob

Until he falls in love with his side piece and leaves her and she has to get a j.o.b. Turning a blind eye can sometimes have them fall completely n live with the side piece. That's what happens in Anerica, honey.

Who cares, it was over when the dirt bag cheated. Don't turn a blind eye - look out for number 1, leave him broke and take the kids. If anything send her flowers and a gift card for getting the cheater off your hands. Then make a note to SELF - raise the bar and PICK better next time.

Adultery in itself is mental torture to the one you're cheating on. If you end up with lead to the head, oh well.

LOL So funny because I read the Betty B. book and wow there certainly was two sides to that story. After reading it, I was at least happy Dan and Linda got their just desserts. Truly rotten people.

You all can not be serious about Betty Broderick! That was no crime of passion, she shot them long after they'd gotten together and even married. No matter what she feels they did to her, they didn't deserve that.

I agree she shouldn't have done it, should have let Karma taken care of them. I think the point was many didn't care since they were horrible people, who went out of their way to piss her off long after the divorce. Linda wanted the husband, money, kids and to step right into Betty's shoes. Those tv movies didn't show the accurate picture of how horrible Dan and Linda were, that was the point. Either way they all paid, and Betty isn't getting out of prison.

Actually it was a reaction to many things they did before, during, and after the divorce. It wasn't a feeling, but well documented in court records. Not the Lifetime Movie, LOL

Aw c'mon! That Lifetime movie was AWESOME. Meredith Baxter Birney was fantastic. My husband and I call each other all the time and say "Hi! It's Betty Broderick!" in that annoying chirpy way. Good stuff!

i read that as DEMENTED, which I think is a better choice rather than determined.

Better then being the doormat, and continue the cycle of abuse. What cheating is, another form of abuse. Oh and fyi, she is happily married today with a really nice guy who has morals.

Anonymous wrote:All men cheat, no need to break up your family over it. As long as is not an emotional affair, just move on and let it be.

I tend to agree (30 yr old female here). I would never tell my husband this and I would certainly make his life hell for it but I would not divorce and split up my family over sex. Men can be immature horn dogs sometimes. Women too. Monogamy is hard and goes against instinct. No I've never cheated and neither has my husband to my knowledge but I just don't see it as THAT big of a deal.

I feel bad for women who think all men cheat. Men, like women, come in all shapes and emotional, maturity, ethical sizes. If you keep picking men who cheat it's because you manifest it by expecting it to happen. Have some standards and the right man will come.

I don't feel bad for people like the PP because she doesn't seem fazed by it. She has standards and she's fine with them. I only feel bad when people feel that way and wouls be destroyed by their spouse cheating on them. That seems miserable.

Well, it depends. I don't understand the destroyed feeling when it's a one-night stand, or two one-night stands, that kind of short-lived encounter. I do understand it when it's a years-long double life. I've heard of betrayed spouses finding out and vomiting, going through the stages of grief, just really freaking out. And I think that reaction is more to do with the lies and deception that they realize has been going on for years. It makes them doubt everything their spouse said and did during that time period, whether their spouse loves them, etc. I think one would have a similar reaction to finding out your spouse was funneling money to offshore accounts, or involved in some criminal enterprise. It's more about the lies and the broken trust than it is about the sex.

I'm the one that doesn't see it as that big of a deal. Maybe i'm just desensitized as a lot of my family (not from this country) has dealt with infidelity. It's kind of a given that the husband is going to pick up a side piece at some point or another. My mom, grandma, aunts, my uncles cheat...its just how it is. As long as they're good husbands and providers then you stick with them. My husband is more "americanized" and we talk about this subject occasionally in random conversation. I do NOT suspect he is or has cheated but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if he did because he's an excellent father and husband. Sure my ego would be hurt because it's natural to want our spouses to desire only us. But I have absolutely NO desire to date again or be a single mom and deal with custody agreements, etc.

Also my religion we don't take vows during the wedding ceremony - I just wanted to address a PP that asked why take vows.

Are you West Indian?

Her ex could also be happier today even though he lives in a *gasp* rental.
