Found a condom in my husband's car

Run along, Right-winger. Adults are talking here.

Are you sure you never used condoms briefly or considered them at all- like after the birth of one of your kids etc. We did, for a time- and those years were such a blur.

Otherwise a buddy who stashed it in there or something- who knows. Gag gift from work, or some type of joke thing or gag at a bachelor party, or even it fell out of a buddy’s pocket and he flung it in there quickly without thinking. I could see some scenarios.

Don’t get me wrong- I’m not naive and it would concern me yes. But I wouldn’t automatically accuse my otherwise trustworthy DH of cheating based on this alone.

Personally I’d ask - just show it to him, and casually ask him in a lighthearted tone with a little laugh. See what he says. If there is an immediate story/excuse I’d tend to believe him. If he says he has no idea or hesitates etc I’d be much more wary- probably guilty. But you know your DH best.

This post was reopened by a woman whose husband passed away and she was cleaning his car and found a condom. So new topic on an old topic.

Sorry, posted using my phone and my comment was embedded in the last quote. This thread was reopened by a woman whose husband passed away 17 months ago and she found a condom in her husband’s car as she was cleaning it. So this is an old thread, but it was opened as a new topic
