Fine. Let the laws be changed as was rightly done regarding slavery and segregation. That doesn't change the fact that the illegal immigrants are breaking our current laws. There is a difference between seeing that those individual currently living in our society (e.g., slaves) be treated with human dignity and respect and rightly be granted their freedom and enacting laws to require such and saying that we will openly ignore our laws regarding immigration and allow anyone to enter without restriction.

Get your head out of the sand. Illegals aquire SSN quite easily. It's called stealing SSN's. Hear of identity theft? Sometimes illegals go by many different names, a fact.

You are correct and this does happen everyday all over the country. Unless you work in the ER, social security services, welfare services etc. you would not have a clue as to what is really going on. Working in case management I can say that services are readily available to undocumented residents and the one's who get put on the back burner and have to go through red tape to get services like home care, are our elderly citizens.
