That doesn't change the fact that the illegal immigrants are breaking our current laws. Your point doesn't make sense. There is a difference between seeing that those individual currently living in our society (e.g., slaves) be treated with human dignity and respect and rightly be granted their freedom and enacting laws to require such and saying that we will openly ignore our laws regarding immigration and allow anyone to enter without restriction.
