"Shouting"?
|
It's quite obvious who is "obsessed with black people," and it isn't the people who simply want merit-based admissions. Anyone who insists minorities deserve preferences simply due to immutable characteristics (such as race) is, in fact, a racist. Own it. |
What stuns me is your utter and complete missing of the point. Wow. |
It was the first time I posted this. You’re probably too dumb to tell there can be more than one person having the same opinion. |
Because it’s probably a good thing for their blatant racism to be on display. It’s a fantastic illustration of hypocrisy and ugliness of this movement. |
The funny thing is that the "woke left" isn't comprised of blacks or hispanics ( even though one person, AOC, is prominent). It's the white Bernie bros living in uber blue gentrified neighborhoods. They don’t like blacks either. Politically, to them, blacks are the "establishment." The irony. Regardless of political ideology, blacks are either the scapegoats or punching bags. Sad. |
You seem deeply confused. Those schools claimed their racial diversity numbers would plummet if they weren't allowed to use racial preferences. But the numbers didn't drop at all. So, either the schools were lying, or they are continuing to use racial preferences. Which is it? “SFFA is deeply concerned that you are not complying with Harvard,” the letters read, a reference to Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, the 2023 Supreme Court ruling that outlawed racial preferences in college admissions. “You told the Supreme Court that, without explicit racial preferences, it would be impossible to ‘obtain the diverse student body’ that you obtained in the past.” Yale, Princeton, and Duke signed an amicus brief in 2022 stating that black and Hispanic enrollment would plunge in the absence of affirmative action. But when those schools released data on the first classes they admitted after the Supreme Court decision, the number of black and Hispanic students was virtually unchanged. |
Yep. Honestly, the people complaining about these suits must think no one's going to call them out on their fake spin. They aren't even correctly reporting WHY the schools were sued. |
That's true, which is why you really should step away from your computer and take a break. Come back when you can handle diversity of opinion. |
What on earth are you babbling about? I'm the person who quoted The Hill. I'm not the PP who commented after that. Which is why many of us use "DP," so that you won't be even more confused. As for you, you seem to be the spammer. |
Um... I've repeatedly asked why you are against merit-based admissions/hiring. You are unable to answer the question. |
Blacks aren't aligned with "the left." See the Democratic Socialists of America, Bernie Sanders, AOC, etc. |
+1 No doubt it's the same poster who doesn't understand why people use "DP." |
Oh, spare us your victim complex. That person doesn't speak for the rest of us, yet you're delighted to label anyone who wants merit-based admissions in with them. No doubt that poster is trolling to get a reaction and to derail the thread. Mission accomplished, hope you're happy. |
Weird and not clever. There is one poster here - ONE - who has made racist comments, no doubt trolling. The rest of us haven't said anything close to what you've written. Tell us - how would YOU "improve things"? |
