Biden could have forced the Israeli to agree to this back in November. Bibi and Biden are in lock step. No ceasefire or release of the hostages till Hamas and all Palestinians are dead. Trump could care less about Bibi. In fact he hates him. Trump is not going to waste his time holding Israel’s hand. The US SOS, D/CIA, etc. are not going to be living in Tel Aviv. If Bibi crosses or disrespects Trump Israel will be humiliated by Trump. |
False |
Hamas has already missed the deadline for submitting names of the first hostages that are to be released. There’s a shockerrrrrrrrr. |
Trump's favorite person in the world, Ivanka, converted to Judiasm and isn't going to do anything that would upset her. Also, here are the Jews serving on his cabinet or advisors; https://www.timesofisrael.com/who-are-the-jews-in-trumps-inner-circle-and-how-will-they-affect-his-second-term/ |
Who agrees with me: This ceasefire is just a game by Netanyahu. He needs to please Trump. He needs to silence his critics who want to end the war and are demanding the return of hostages.
Israelis care only about themselves. They are tired of the war. What actually happened and how much suffering they have caused is irrelevant |
Still no names from Hamas. |
According to BBC, they are citing technical difficulties. Israel is continuing the war |
Let’s see how long it takes them to blame Israel. Hamas thrives on this stuff, loves trying to look like the victim here. And of course our local hamas booster (the one who loves to mention spittle) will also come in blaming Israel. So predictable. |
DP It’s quite feasible to have contempt for Hamas, the Israel government (and its policies and actions), and radical, extremist Zionists at the very same time. It’s even feasible to do all that, AND to also love innocent Palestinians who only seek peace, love innocent Israelis who only seek peace, and love Jewish Americans who only seek peace, too. |
The names have been announced
Israeli air strikes succeeded in killing 10 in between the time of the start of ceasefire and the announcement of the names of the hostages to be released. I am baffled as to how and why Netanyahu was not able to budge for a short while but needed to use this opportunity to kill |
You’re baffled? Really? One side did not adhere to the agreement and you expect the other side to? Nothing baffling about it, could not be clearer. This is a classic example of people holding Israel to a higher standard. So in your baffled mind, it is okay for hamas not to adhere to the ceasefire, yet Israel should? Check your reflexive anti-semitism. |
DP It’s not anti-semitism to hold Israel to a higher standard than a terrorist organization - everyone has to endure individuals like you insisting that Israel is a lawful member of the international community, despite what we see with our own eyes, and all taxpayers in America have to foot the bill for Israel’s voracious appetite for warring with others. If you stop the charade and we can stop paying immediately for anything in that region, we can start holding Israel to a lower standard, too … |
There is reporting that the agreement was for Israel to suspend drone activity prior to the ceasefire in order for Hamas to coordinate and communicate with themselves to get the list of the three captives. Israel did not suspend the drone activity and hence the delay. Since there are attacks everyday, the suspension was needed to ensure that the names given were still alive. Israel did not adhere to their agreement. |

Three young women are to be released today. Hamas has offered their names. These three should be alive per the agreement. It's unclear how many of the other 30 hostages will be returned alive. This includes a number of toddlers that Hamas took hostage. Those poor kids. In exchange, Israel is releasing Palestinian terrorists, including those that are responsible for a number of suicide bombings that killed dozens of innocent civilians.
If Hamas violates the terms of the ceasefire, I have no doubt it will be full war within hours. This is such an ugly deal for Israel. Hamas and their supporters are the most vile people on earth. It's baffling why Palestinians support these terrorists. Their support for Hamas has brought so much misery. But hopefully, the misery ends for at least a few hostages. |
