I’m the PP who posted about wanting to end US support in the area in general and just wanted to say that I believe you and I am sorry about the suffering of your family. I don’t want US tax dollars supporting this (or, as I said, anything to do with either Palestine or Israel).

Donald Trump does not get enough credit for how smart he is. I bet he will pressure Qatar to cut off Hamas once and for all, doing what Israel cannot do. He will save Gazans and liberate them and Israel and the hostages without sending a bullet. Imagine if he were president all of last year.

What Donald hasnt realized yet or maybe he has is Netanyahu does not want Hamas to die off in Gaza. Likud wants Hamas to stay in the region to avoid peace talks or two state solution (a negotiation where Israel loses nothing by the way and keeps the same land they already have). On Oct. 7 I was horrified by what happened. I also said to my husband and friends that this would benefit Trump and that Bibi would use the tragedy to help Trump get elected. He did. Bibi also ignored the intelligence that indicated that something was being planned. I’m not saying he knew that Oct. 7 would be as horrific as it was but Bibi wasn’t averse to something happening that would enable him to rally support around him and avoid losing power and going to jail.

why did it take the IDF so long to respond on 10/7? Hours and hours went by.
