Same for California.

Places hard hit by wildfires are far from "rich". They actually vote red because it tends to be in rural areas.

My coworker's 90 yr old grandmother was impacted by two fires.

There are poor areas in every state. California has many wealthy areas.

But the ones that are mostly impacted by wildfire are red. I guess the Rs message to them is "screw you".

Global warming in 1916, huh?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1916_Atlantic_hurricane_season

And 60 year and 90 year ocean heating and cooling cycles.

And long 6-7 year weather transitions before those cycles.

And El Niño and Nina 7 year ocean cycles

All factor in. All the time. Earth is awesome!!!

Too bad we can’t pay China to drop some of those nuclear fission instant-cooling things into the hurricane and counter the temps and pressure. Make it stop rain in the ocean now.

Like they do with their storms and rainy seasons.

Another climate change denier! Go get some of that waterfront Florida real estate. You will get a good deal.

Yes. That is why traffic is backed up for miles and gas stations are running out of gas. That’s not preparation.

+1. Sounds like he’s had a concept of a plan. For at least 19 hours.

It looks like a lot of conservatives in Florida are saying the storm is fake and planning on having hurricane parties.

Okay MTG. Brilliant idea. Have China test “nuclear fission instant cooling things” on a major storm off the coast of Florida. Brilliant idea. (Do you have any idea what you are saying?).

No, they are not US citizens who pay taxes.

Ok, so no bail ours for Trump and his friends who brag about NOT paying taxes

Regardless of your opinions on any politician or area of the United States, our citizens should come first. Period.

Unless it’s Puerto Rico, California 9r another blue state and Trump is POTUS.

Social Darwinism. I’m oddly okay with that.

He IS a good governor.

His policy on insurance is going to kill the state.
His policy in immigration has made construction more expensive.
He gutted higher education in the state, which will show in the coming years as the brain drain continues.

But oh, those shrimp boots were awesome.

Florida's higher education is not in trouble.

Right? What is that poster smoking?

He is NOT a good governor.

Zero books last year in my kids' public high school library. ZERO.

Read that again (if you can, I assume you didn't attend DeSantis' public schools). ZERO books in a public high school library.

Because of DeSantis and his culture wars.

He's a monkey.

DP. You are an utter liar. Name the school that has “zero books” in the library. We’ll wait.

You know the PP is lying, right? No one is saying the storm is fake. But the fact that you didn’t question the claim at all, and in fact, celebrated it, clearly shows who you really are. Gross… AND stupid.

And not taking the call is even more politically motivated.

Haven't you Harris supporters been telling us for months that no policy falls on her shoulders because she is only the VP? Well, which is it?
