Golden Bachelorette

Shame she didn't like Pablo, the only Marylander in the group, and one of the most accomplished.

Obviously she was directed to keep Jack and Charles L, early fan favorites, even though there is zero chance she'd be romantic with either.

Agree! Re: Pascal, I think women initially like the idea of a rich European guy sweeping them off their feet. It will wear off.

I do not understand why they couldn't cast guys only from the I-95 corridor. At this age, and by Joan's admission, (and as we saw with Gerry and Teresa), LOCATION is the name of the game. If you are geographically undesirable, the game is over.

I could see Joan with Mark, we’ll see if they have any real chemistry. I think Kim should be set up with Faith and Chock with Leslie.

And Jack with Susan haha.

Jonathan is cute but can’t imagine Joan dealing with remote IA. I also side eye whenever a guy claims he was blindsided by divorce.

Major red flag.

Obvious spoiler misdirects are so annoying. Dollars to donuts her Mark "I love you" is friend-zoning him. Also highly likely he'll be the next Golden Bachelor.

Yeah, Chock is very heavily featured in the season preview, which means he's definitely not F1. Agree not Mark either, but they need to keep him for a while to set him up for GB.

I get a weird vibe from Chock. Not terribly bad weird, I just would like to know more about his relationship history. I guess I always do with the divorced ones. He definitely sticks around for a while. The previews do give a bit away.

Is owning a hair salon really that lucrative? His salon results look pretty basic, and it was advertising for new clients not that long ago.

I really enjoyed Gary, Jack, and Charles (aka the ones unlikely to go far) but thought most of them seemed like nice guys with high EQs. Bummer they mostly live far away but not an easy age to cast, I suppose.

Joan seems most interested in Keith, Mark, Jonathan, Pascal, and Chock right now. Will be fun to see how the relationships develop!

None of them

The only two I see as viable are Keith and Mark. It wouldn't shock me if it ended up being none of them, though the season preview does suggest she falls for someone.

Saw Gerry will visit (ugh) but hoping a number of the GB ladies do, too. I posted way upthread that it would be so great if Leslie had the guys choreograph a dance, Faith have them write a song, Susan have them cook etc.

Yes, I thought that a few of them seemed gay and were probably there because the.show needed more men or they want acting/influencer careers or something like that.

I had seen their photos and thought two or three of them seemed attractive but I was completely underwhelmed by them in 3-D.

The guy with the restraining order has dyed hair as did a few others. I don't think this looks good on older men.

Joan is 61; Mark is 57. As silly as most women think it is, a lot of guys in their 50s want to go younger, not older.

Just coming here to say I will not watch this shlock.

Jack is the Susan in the group, it’s hilarious!

He’s just there for the cannon balls lol. He’s 100% the Susan, there to provide entertainment and food.

I thought "Oh, wow, he's too much -- I wouldn't be able to stand him at all." And then he made delicious food, and I thought "Hmm. Keep him, for sure."

This is why he is there. To set him up to be the next Golden Bachelor. She isn't supposed to pick him. He's a little young, though?
