My thoughts exactly.

Someone whose kids are grown like, ahem, Mark?

I know it’s a cliche but it’s hard not to root for these two. Their energy seems very compatible and I think Joan would probably be an amazing stepmother to Kelsey and her sisters. But maybe too many ghosts for one relationship.

I also like Keith. Not sure if he’d be good for her since she’s a little reserved, or too much. Could be exhausting.

Jonathon is handsome and seems nice, but he lives too far away and we need to hear more about his ‘sudden’ divorce.

I could see Joan with Mark, we’ll see if they have any real chemistry. I think Kim should be set up with Faith and Chock with Leslie.

And Jack with Susan haha.

Jonathan is cute but can’t imagine Joan dealing with remote IA. I also side eye whenever a guy claims he was blindsided by divorce.

Jack is the Susan in the group, it’s hilarious!

I like Keith, he’s my pick! Great chemistry. Mark seems a little befuddled by it all, not sure he’s up for actual wooing. We’ll see!

Because Gerry wasn’t the real deal. Joan is (aside from the work haha). She reminds me of Trista, serious and there for the right reasons. Doesn’t seem like the type to get snowed, like some recent younger bachelorettes. For this reason I’m now glad Leslie wasn’t picked, not sure she has solid enough judgment to weed out the con artists and losers.

I honestly couldn't believe it when they showed the flashback photos with her husband. She was a real plane Jane back in the day, who transformed herself with makeup, hair dye, and work in late middle age. Although I think she took it too far, and her over-emoting with such a tight face is hard you watch, she really did become quite glamorous and stylish. The men seem genuinely impressed with her (goes to show you most men do not give a fig about obvious work, but do like long blond hair and thin elegant bodies). She seems like a nice, grounded woman who truly loved her husband and mourned his loss deeply. I'm pulling for her!

I find that totally fascinating and true. My own dh will say a woman on tv looks great even when to me the woman looks borderline deformed and grotesque from plastic surgery. It's like he cannot tell!

Exhibit A: Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez

He’s just there for the cannon balls lol. He’s 100% the Susan, there to provide entertainment and food.

She has said on multiple occasions that her husband was a complete extrovert. So I expect she will pick someone who is also an extrovert.

I think the fact that Jonathan is still co-parenting minor kids is probably a deal breaker. I know she won’t say it out loud, but he is just not in the same stage of life she is despite their being the same age.

They need to put Jack, Susan, Gary and Natasha together somehow. Maybe send them all to Paradise!

I prefer Joan's early days look 100 times more than the plastic surgery look. Less is more! Natural is better.

I can see some physical similarities between her late husband's later look abd the guy who got the first impression rose.

Pascal is a bit much...the ooo-la-la Schick. I would expect someone who owns a salon and caters to women's vanity to make money off of them to be a BIG bull-sh---er. Would expect him to be a big flirt too. Deal breaker.

I like the captain. Kim.

Chock seems like the most normal guy. Maybe a bit too midwest-normal for her, but he speaks with a normal voice, looks normal-hsndsome, not over the top. He seems pretty calm. He and Mark and the tall/blond/girl dad guy seem like the pick of the litter. Jonathan is in that group too (fit, cute, calm...but not compatible life stages or location-wise).

I really like how the producers added depth to the men's stories with the home videos. I think Joan did a very good job carrying the load as lead. It IS work. And she spoke well and tried hard to show interest with each guy...it cannot be easy hour after hour after hour.

Poor production team vetting strikes again! Because I find it very hard to believe this behavior is new.

This was a colossal flop the first time. Why bother?

Sheesh, luckily sounds like he doesn't stick around for long.

Major red flag.

Obvious spoiler misdirects are so annoying. Dollars to donuts her Mark "I love you" is friend-zoning him. Also highly likely he'll be the next Golden Bachelor.

Why did she keep Pascal? He's pretentious and annoying, definitely there to promote his business and himself (probably in that order).

Obviously she was directed to keep Jack and Charles L, early fan favorites, even though there is zero chance she'd be romantic with either.
