I get that you hate unions but they have done so much good.

Which is why teachers are on Facebook begging for classroom supplies.

That would be a budgetary issue for the BoE. If they can cut back on bloated central office positions and spend more on classrooms this wouldn't be an issue.
This. MCPS has 2x the number of non-teacher staff that FFX Co. has. That's a lot of $ spent on NOT teaching. If we still had local media, someone could look into this.

Due process can be painfully slow.

Well yeah especially if you never do it.

you keep saying that, but they use different measures. I'm a sped para coded as central office. I've never worked a day in my career in central office.

Ok. But that doesn't change my statement that MCPS has 2x the number of non-teacher staff that FFX Co. has. That's central office and non-central office staff. How is FFX doing this and why is MCPS growing the number of non-teacher staff like crazy while seemingly unable to hire more teachers.

How does FCPS code non-teaching v teaching staff? How does MCPS?

Biedleman won’t get fired right away because per the original Post article, MCPS’s first internal investigation (not Jackson-Lewis or IG) found that he DID NOT engage in sexual harassment. Now that the IG report is out, Biedleman can challenge any attempt to fire him based on the IG’s findings because he has employment rights through the agreement between MCPS and MCAPP, the administrators union

I could swear I read that under McKnight they grew the CO by 30%.

So one investigation found he did, while another said he didn't... It sounds like a difference of opinion, but regardless, his guilt isn't clear-cut or beyond doubt.

Was that the investigation that was handled by the gentleman who was later promoted by McKnight to assistant general counsel and given a pay raise only to have the move reversed once the WaPo reported on it?

Well, that first investigation was the one noted in the later Jackson-Lewis investigation where dates and findings were changed by MCPS administration.

Wait, so McKnight promoted the guy who did the investigation and then oversaw the team that went back and doctored the results of the investigation in order to make MCPS look good once it faced media scrutiny?

No evidence suggests the results were doctored. If you can't remain objective, please just stop posting.

Go back and read the Jackson Lewis report. Clearly states the report was changed. Even their own lawyers said they messed up
