+1 everyone knows only executives deserve raises. Blue collar workers should be paid in company store script like they were when this country was great |
what you say is right but is that reality? you really think a CEO will take a paycut and distribute to the workers while keeping prices idle? this is purely a democratic idea and a peachy world idea. strong arming people to give you the raise will cause an increase in prices to the consumers. please google wage inflation spiral, hands down the worst inflation any economy can face. biden is so clueless, he actually believes the opposite. listen to any economist, they will all the same. but we are dems and love to spend money and tax people. nothing ever changes. |
The owner class owns you. You must accept that. There is no lever of power to pulled to change it. Stand down. |
Do you understand that this is capitalism? Biden's doesn't call for strikes or end them. Do you want socialism? Or Communism? That seems the be the implication of your post. |
Back in the 1950's when the right claims things were great, executive pay were a few times the worker pay. Now, it is thousands of times or more. That is not close to sustainable. |
It all trickles down baby! The pie just grows and grows. No need for guardrails, regulations, and rules |
What a weird pivot and what a way to admit you don’t think workers should be paid fairly. Why did they have to take the hit to their pay years ago to keep the company running only for the C suite to pay themselves hundreds of times more than the people who make the damn cars? Why are you such a little quisling? |
If any of these slow witted “I voted Biden but I’m disgruntled now!” pps could possibly make that connection, they’d have a real breakthrough and experience some real growth. Workers aren’t being paid fairly; that might have something to do with why people struggle financially. And once again it’s Republicans and big business that like it that way. |
![]() “United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain took a swipe at former President Trump, saying he serves a “billionaire class,” a day ahead of Trump’s visit to Detroit where he will speak to union workers.” https://thehill.com/business/4224665-uaw-boss-says-trump-works-for-billionaire-class-ahead-of-visit/ |
Trump's rally in Detroit is scheduled for 4pm today, 9/27. He's not going to be speaking to union workers after all. "Trump previously labeled his remarks as showing solidarity with the UAW workers on strike. However, he'll be giving his speech from a non-union auto parts plant at an event that is invite-only." https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/trumps-rally-to-uaw-members-at-non-union-plant-blasted-by-fain-as-pathetic-irony |
The Hill is tilted right BS as usual. Trump will not visiting Detroit and he will not be speaking to union workers. Trump is speaking at a NON-union shop 25 miles from Detroit, Drake Enterprises in Clinton Township. https://www.wxyz.com/news/uaw-president-pathetic-irony-trump-will-speak-at-non-union-plant-on-wednesday |
Funny how you think this will help the working class not realizing it will add to inflation and actually hurt in the long run. Why do the c suite exec get paid so much? Because they have a specialized skill that the average folks dont, is it that hard to understand? Do these executes just get lucky and end up in this position? They have no skills to run such a huge corporation? Really? Its all good, we can keep going around in circles. |
ps if you were offered the job you would take it too, dont act all high and mighty. Some of you are just too funny, no wonder I like this forum. laughing is good for the brain. |
Auto worker jobs are generally the best in the area.
The bigger problem for the auto workers is the Dem movement away from gas automobiles. |
