how long will it be until Democrats and urban elites condemn the auto workers for the audacity of asking for a raise?

Most Democrats will support the strike. Urban elites don't buy American cars and couldn't care less if they go on strike. The only ones who will be upset are Republicans and the centrist media which, like you, will expect Democrats to condemn the strike.

Oh wow, what a surprise, another jobs killing union demanding outrageous compensation for unskilled low education work.

They want UAW to earn up to $50/hr. Lol, there are so many jobs out there that require education and years of training that make less than that.

Fire them all and replace with migrant workers coming over the border. Or better yet, close all of the plants and make everything in Mexico and El Salvador. Kill two birds with one stone by reducing labor costs and giving jobs to central Americans who need to get out of poverty that drives them to come here in the first place.

First ups drivers get $170k. Now UAW workers get $100k. What's next, giving the secretary in the office $150k? Yeah, kiss prices good buy with skyrocketing inflation. Can't wait until burgers cost $72 and you need to make $1M per year just to live a middle class life.
