Looks like a strike for Auto workers is likely in Fall.

They're in this fight, so to speak, because they think they have a clear win in the anti-EV/ climate initiative fight

They do not give a crap about these workers and would turn on them in a dime. They wouldn't even be out there if it weren't for having political advantage carping about EVs

+1 They don’t care about unions. They’re openly hostile to literally anything that gives workers any advantage in the world.

Scabs? Yes, that’s a tried and true management tactic.

Pp here — Scabs are not existing white collared employees.
Telling their salaries office workers I have never seen before.

Yes, of course scabs have been used in the past.

Strike is continuing to expand as the vampire management class still has its head buried in the sand!

There are two groups involved in this strike.
You cannot blame the "vampire management" without also casting some blame on the union leaders who are making unreasonable demands.

LoL. The union will win. Just wait until next Friday when the strike expands even further if the management doesn’t deal in reality.

Sorry. I am all for these union workers getting paid more.
But, working a 4 day week and getting paid for 5 and seeking a 40% pay increase are examples of not dealing in reality.

The Union sucked it up when these companies were failing a few years ago. Now it’s time to pay the piper.
Oh and I see many in the media and on here promoting a four day work week for the white collar class. Now it’s time for labor to enjoy that. Fair’a fair.

“Unreasonable demands” is called “negotiation.”

There is nothing unreasonable about their demands. The salaries of the CEO'S are beyond unreasonable!

Annual CEO compensation:
GM - $29M
Toyota - $6M

Have still not been able to find anyone who can tell me why the $23 million difference? Let's see, get government bailout, keep outrageous salary, and move jobs out of the US - sweeeeet.
