Is something wrong with Mitch McConnell?

3. Why does he look like muppet?

He is obviously in denial.

He needs a good wife or doctor who force the issue.

He is a meal ticket for everyone else around him.

Same could be said for several big time politicians. As far as I can tell McConnels issues have gotten much worse rapidly. But as for a few others still on the gravy train, it’s been apparent for a while longer. It’s up to voters. Voters need to say no when offered a clearly incompetent or significant impaired option. For example Fetterman. It stinks he had a stroke so young and that he hasn’t recovered as much as he probably hoped but he is not the best person for that job. There have got to be other Democrats in PA that could do the job as well or better. But mark my words he will run again in 5 years and he will win.

So what causes an onset of absence seizures? Brain tumor?

Mine are caused by idiopathic epilepsy. No one knows why I have it but it is treatable. We suspect mine was caused by a brain unjustly but the seizures didn’t appear until several years after so that is speculation. I’ve had friends have seizures for a time after a car accident or similar event. So if he hit his head recently, it could be a result of that. For some people it becomes a permanent thing and for others the seizures go away with time. There are side effects to treatment so if it is seizures, they may be waiting to medicate to see if the seizures go away on their own. When I have mine, I am completely frozen for the period of the seizure but coherent before and after. I was able to hide mine for a long time but mine progressed to bigger seizures.

It could truly be said that the only people who love Mitch are those who haven't met him!

Pp here. The first thing neurologists do is look for brain abnormalities. They didn’t find anything with me. So yes, it could be a from a tumor but also might not be.

He had a fall a few months before the first incident that was bad enough to cause a broken rib and concussion so it definitely could be related to this.

If it is seizures, he should just say so. Those of us who live every day with seizures could use someone saying “yep, its a seizure. We are working on medication or solutions.” He should not drive or fly a plane for a while but I have gone to law school, passed the bar, been pregnant, raised kids and done a whole lot while also managing seizures.

He's been "medically cleared" by the attending physician of Congress. He will continue as minority leader until they wheel him out on a gurney.

My grandfather had them with his Parkinson’s.

Doctor is right. Dehydration can cause light-headedness. But that is not what we are seeing here.

Backing up a minute, can someone explain to me how the R's are holding Feinstein hostage? Feinstein could step down and Newsom would name her replacement, another reliable D. It seems to me that in her lucid moments she is just plain stubborn or in denial about her abilities and cognitive function.

Yeah, I gasped when I got to that in the article. Insulting, dishonest, and deceptive.
