Is something wrong with Mitch McConnell?

I agree, he looks thin and frail

He does not look well. These power drunk old farts just refuse to let go of power.

What happened on that tape is a whole different category of bad. Let's resist the urge to take all old people and put them into one category. Feinstein has issues, Pelosi does not. McConnell clearly has something going on, and it's not the same as Biden tripping on a power cord.

While I would love to see him go, and think he should, what concerns me most about this is that an elderly person with a history of health issues has an episode that looks very much like a mini stroke and apparently no one insists he go to the hospital immediately to get checked out. What is up with that?

This could turn out to be choice that backfires completely if he does not get the care he needs.

+1

Are some of you totally broken? Mitch just flat out stopped speaking mid sentence and couldn’t continue. That’s not normal.

Yes. Different diagnosis than Diane Feinstein, but there are elders on both sides of the aisles who are not doing well.

I loathe a lot of the man's actions, but he is not sympathetic to the Trump clan. So. Will it be a loss when he leaves? Not sure.

The brown circle around his mouth comes frim him kissing Trump's derriere 24/7/365 from Nov.. 2016 to present! He has beady eyes, forked tongue, his scaly slimy skin, give me the creeps. I hope he gets all that he so richly deserves, soon and in spades..

Are these people just addicted to the power and status? This is sad.

Yes, addicted to power. McConnell, Pelosi, Feinstein, Grassley, Graham, Biden, Trump and many other powerful folks that are well past their primes and would serve the country well if they were to retire.

Pelosi and Biden run rings around the rest of those people. Feinstein has been begged by her party to leave; the GOP won’t ask their geriatrics to go.

The GOP won't let Feinstein go, either

Joe is the biggest concern.

Not based on his current health status. Maybe because the President is a bigger deal. Mitch looked like he had that post-fall seizure the Trumpers were always predicting for Hillary Clinton.

[b]Petit Mal Seizure [b] This seizure causes a brief changed state of consciousness and staring. You will likely maintain your posture. Your mouth or face may twitch or your eyes may blink rapidly. The seizure usually lasts no longer than 30 seconds. When the seizure is over, you may not recall what just occurred. You may go on with your activities as though nothing happened. These seizures may occur several times a day.

He’s sort of wrong. I’m not wishing suffering or death on McConnell, but I am longing for his retirement, so I wouldn’t say I’m wishing him well either.

I’ve found 80 can be a real turning point where health can decline quickly. We have a maximum age for pilots, we should have one for our political leaders as well.

I disagree. Not everyone of a given age has similar deficits or even strengths. I think Mitch should retire though, and I’ve thought that for a few years now, although my preference would be that he get voted out.

I just watched the video. Seizure, stroke, whatever’s going on with him, I truly hope that someone cares about him enough to get him to a hospital. Then I hope he immediately goes all in for universal healthcare, and promptly retires.
