Vladimir Putin has lost the plot. I think he’s losing his mind. In that scenario, a nuclear launch isn’t off the table unless those around him take him out.
If he launches, the whole world is screwed. No place is far enough away, and as others have said - I’d rather die in the initial attack than live to die slowly in the apocalyptic aftermath. It’s ironic that everyone was so keen to get the nukes out of Ukraine - where the majority of the USSR’s nukes resided - following the dismantling of the Union. The 1994 agreement between Ukraine, USA, UK and Russia promised Ukraine independence and ‘security assurances’ if they gave up the nukes. They trusted the agreement, and now they’re being betrayed by all parties in the most horrific way. |
+a billion. They anti-mask/pro-prepper folks would also probably F up a post nuclear Holocaust society too by being super stupid. |
It’s weird to me that you think this. Maybe you and I differ on who we would consider “anti-mask”. But I definitely would think the people literally fleeing DC right now (or at least claiming they are) are the same ones who think their perfectly healthy 6 year old might die if they go to school unmasked. |
Literally no one is fleeing dc. No one is sending those kid in a school in a mask because they think their 6 year old will die. It was always to stop the spread to people who are vulnerable. But, why be rational and sane when you can write a bunch of hyperbolic untruths? |
Haha! Ok, you answered my question. |

I’m a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction. I’m afraid some of you haven’t thought this “run to the hills” through. A post-apocalyptic world will be hell on earth. You better have guns and tons of ammo. Good luck finding any food; most water/soil will be radioactive so don’t expect to grow anything. Remember that medicines will be extremely difficult to come by so any type of now-routine accident/illness may be deadly.
Consider reading The Road and Swan Song to start. |
DP, but I’m pretty sure the anti-mask crowd traffics in conspiracy theories and believe the worst case scenario is about to come true. Btw, the masks (as has been said before) don’t protect the wearer but others. I have never understood the people saying those wearing masks are living in fear. No, they are living in basic courtesy. |
Mmmmm, no. I’m wearing my N95 mask to protect ME. IDGAF about anyone else. |
Hi!! It’s crazy that you’re posting from April 2020, but I think you’ll be happy to know that almost 2 years later in 2022, everyone knows this is nonsense. |
You are so wrong. I will just wave my stack of cash. People will be desperate for worthless currency. |
Hi! It’s crazy that you think people aren’t wearing cloth masks any more! I’m vaccinated and I still wear my mask because my daughter has Covid right now. So I wear a mask because I could be an asymptomatic carrier and I’m protecting others! But go ahead assume otherwise! |
And I have worn N95s since supplies eased up in the summer of 2020, too. |
| Bora bora maybe….. |
Not in this situation but keep believing that! |
I just…I just can’t get over this person thinking that the superior foreign policy is “bending over and coquettishly spreading your ass cheeks” 😂 So much for American exceptionalism. |
