Agreed. He's 5'7 and 155lbs. The person in the video had a slim build.

People. He wasn't alone!!!!

I can't see how he could have.
How could one guy over take 4 people, including one who was trained in 3 advance martial arts specialities?

A gun. Just because he didn't use it to kill any of the victims, doesn't mean he didn't use it to gain control over the victims. If someone held a gun to my child, I would do whatever he/she asked.

I am glad they know at least one of the guys and they will get the other, but I just didn't expect this. I did not think it was business related, but I suspected someone who had probably worked in the home at some point or currently. It doesn't appear that is the case. Just a career criminal who should have been behind bars already. I fear things are only getting worse in this country. He looks like exactly what he is.

Always assume its a sociopathic thug and you will be right 99% of the time.

Anthia Wint is listed at same address and co-defendant on some of the brothers' custody cases. Her DOB would likely make her their mother. When you search her name it pops ups with the address listed in the judicial system. Googling like a pro ...

Anthia Wint is no stranger to the law.

Is a sociopath necessarily a thug? if so, why are you being redundant? Wouldn't you be right 99% of the time if you just assume it's a sociopath?

Too bad DC doesn't have the death penalty.

Federal charges for kidnapping, conspiracy, etc -- with murder death penalty is an option.

They didn't cross state lines in the kidnapping...

DC is federal.

DC has "state law" (the DC code) that is separate from the federal United States Code. But I get what you're saying in theory (ie, the US attorneys are the prosecutors in DC, but indeed there is "dc state law.")

It looks like there may be scope if they can find a hook (and in cases like this, they can "find" a hook). http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/feb/28/death-penalty-may-be-sought-in-dc-trial/?page=all

Ok maybe I used the term money wire incorrectly. How did the 40k in cash come to be? From the business's safe?

There are reports that it was common for cash to be dropped at the house. Cash payments are used to avoid taxes, drugs and black market stuff. I think the murder was some how tipped off about the cash.

God, just another petty criminal who graduates into horrific just like in the Petit case. Too bad, DC doesn't have the death penalty.

Again, would the death penalty make it right? This person is so horrible and worthless that killing him would accomplish nothing for me.

He was charged with "robbery with a dangerous weapon", "assault in the 1st degree", "assault in the second degree", "use of handgun to commit a violent crime", "robbery", "theft over $500", "conspiracy" and 2 counts of intimidating a juror or witness.

Maybe his brother gave him some tips or was a co-conspirator.

Actually, it looks like he has two younger brothers, twins born in 1/1985. The whole family is a complete suck of judicial resources.

No. Sociopaths aren't all criminals, just lacking conscious. To treat a child this way is clearly the act of a sociopath. In addition, he is a thug.

Fox News keeps reporting that cash drop offs were a common occurrence quoting NG but the Washington Post says it never occurred in the 20 yrs that NG worked there. Interestingly both Fox and WaPo use the same source.
