Seriously, this guy wouldn't be sent to a country club prison. At age 34, he will be spending a lot of years in very difficult conditions (assuming he is guilty and found as such). Let him suffer in obscurity rather than becoming the poster child in a debate over the federal death penalty.

I'm AA and see why black males with dreads are looked upon differently.

So sad, but it may be the reality.

Maybe his brother gave him some tips or was a co-conspirator.

Actually, it looks like he has two younger brothers, twins born in 1/1985. The whole family is a complete suck of judicial resources.

Both Petit killers got what they deserved, death. It may accomplish nothing for you but not everyone feels the same.

Ok maybe I used the term money wire incorrectly. How did the 40k in cash come to be? From the business's safe?

There are reports that it was common for cash to be dropped at the house. Cash payments are used to avoid taxes, drugs and black market stuff. I think the murder was some how tipped off about the cash.

Where did the cash come from? I guess what I'm asking is, is the path the cash took (from its source to the house's doorstep) protected by any federal law like money wiring is?

Yes, excellent observation.

I do not think that the car necessarily left at 10:30. I think they have a neighbor or someone saying they saw it there at 10:30. Then it wasn't there when the fire was seen and called in. So sometime after 10:30 the car was driven away.

Maybe the assistant or Vera's husband saw the car???

Vile. Shouldn't he still be in prison for that?

Ok I'm the pp who called my pizza speculation silly..I have another observation. Dominos says they delivered TWO pizzas. I know this seems trivial, but would ONE suspect order TWO pizzas for himself? Another sign that there's more than one perp?

Police said they had obtained a warrant for the arrest of Daron Dylon Wint, who they said is in his mid-30s and is from Maryland. They said they do not know his whereabouts. The break in the case came after police matched Wint to DNA found on the crust of a Domino’s pizza that had been ordered to the house the night of May 13 as the victims were being held, according to three law enforcement officials with knowledge of the investigation.

I called it dozens of pages back that it would be lowlife from SE or PG county. Just like Harvey Family murders in Richmond.

What did the neighbor see that made him stop his car?

Isn't it obvious from the timeline that the cash was obtained to buy off the home invader(s)? That's why there were phone calls to banks, accountants, etc. - to get cash to the house pronto.

Note to assistants - if your boss calls with some weird request to bring wads of cash to his house - call the police to check the place out.
