In the summer of 2020, it took months for Biden to call cities and towns being burned, stores being looted and cops being attacked “riots." A real leader would step up and stop this anarchy.

These kids are not anarchists. They are paying north of six figures for college tuition. They can camp wherever they want on campus. As long as they aren’t hurting people , they are well within their rights which is why police can’t arrest them. They aren’t trespassing on private property.

I think most people have zero problem with students protesting and camping. But if the university says, please disperse, and they don’t, then it is trespassing, and they should be arrested.

It’s their legal right as an American to peacefully assemble and protest. They shouldn’t be arrested if they are civil.

If the colleges were honest, they’d expel them for not following disperse rules but they can’t have that and lose money can they?

And they shouldn't let it go on for weeks before arresting them either.

We saw Hamas doing that not Gazans. Gazans dislike Hamas and protested them for the past three years and even now and media isn’t covering it.

Palestinians begged the White House and Israel to ban Hamas from even getting allowed to participate in The 2006 election and we ignored their warnings.

Israel wanted Hamas to win because they didn’t like the two state solution loving Fatah in the West Bank. What a great gamble! Netanyahu is a genius

3 in 4 Gazans support October 7th. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/poll-shows-palestinians-back-oct-7-attack-israel-support-hamas-rises-2023-12-14/#:~:text=JERUSALEM%2C%20Dec%2013%20(Reuters),respected%20Palestinian%20polling%20institute%20found.

The protesters greatest foolishness is their failure to recognize that the choice is not peace vs. war.

The choice is simply which side to support in the war.

Neither Palestinians nor Israelis are willing to sacrifice land for peace (at least enough land to get peace).

Both sides are willing to fight for land, and willing to harm civilians for that land.

No real good guys here.

Iff the students were honest they would transfer to a college that better supports their beliefs and has no investments in Israel. I say this as someone who wants a ceasefire and has contributed to aid for Gazans - but also as someone who supports Israel’s right to exist.

Why are we suppressing American youth for criticizing a foreign government?

If 193 of the other 194 other countries recognized by the U.N. oppose what you’re doing, chances are you’re doing something very, very wrong. Like, generationally wrong.

Seems obvious that such basic logic would occur to everyone, but there’s no accounting for the power of propaganda, I guess.

Why protesting against wars and ethnic cleansing is getting labeled as a crime?

Camping is the big driver causing problems.

We haven't had a real president since January, 2017.

This is not the fascist country you want it to be. People have a right to protest even if you personally disagree with them.

They should be criticizing the stupidity of American taxpayers being forced to fund both sides of the war.
