I can't be friends with people who.....

1. don't drink
2. don't complain about their husbands
3. don't hire babysitters

Luckily, these three things often go hand-in-hand so it doesn't elimitate too many people.
What are yours?

(actually OP, I #1 and #3, but I fail to see how #2--which I don't do--corresponds. If I have a disagreement with dh, I will sometimes talk about it with my sister, but I don't complain. Hate when ladies do.)

Wow. Non-drinker here. So you guys wouldn't be my friends? I'm surprised - but I guess I should have figured that people are thinking that behind my back.

Just to let you know. I wish I could drink.

Why can't you? FWIW I would not care if you did not drink and were my friend. I would only have an issue if you were smug or condescending about my drinking

So people who are casually nonreligious are okay?

And you won't be friends with those who are in favor of abortion rights?

These are real, non-snarky questions.

12:42 DON'T feel bad. Non-drinker here too. I don't care for friendships where I am judged for choosing not to drink.

Hmm...I don't drink due to a way too wild decade and a half before hitting 30, but I do indulge in the occasional bowl and, sometimes, blow. Surprised that you would cross me off at the get-go because I don't drink.

Uh oh I do this a lot. Does it really annoy people? We just have that kind of repertoire in our relationship... We still are very close and love each other.
