Me too. You gotta be able to kick back and let the inner 8 years old in you come out...(in a fun carefree non whiny way)

Just to let you know. I wish I could drink.

Why can't you? FWIW I would not care if you did not drink and were my friend. I would only have an issue if you were smug or condescending about my drinking

Nah. I wouldn't rule you out if you didn't think we were evil for drinking or judge us. I just have found the two groups generally don't mix. We do have a non-drinkning spouse in our group of friends and she is great as a designated driver. It is always good to have at least one non-drinking friend!

seriously--i kid, i kid. spouse is seriously funny. I don't know how they do it. Whenever I was pregnant I wanted to strangle all friends and relatives when they were drinking...loud, jokes aren't funny, etc. I assume the non-drinkers have to feel that way, right?

Yeah it sounds like it is a medical or health reason for you- I think this applies mostly to people who WON'T drink and are judgmental about it. Although, a lot of people socialize around drinking events. I think if you went to parties or bars or whatever and just quietly had non alcoholic beverages no one would notice.

You sound like a lot of fun . I would love to hang out with Zach Galifinakis or- back in the day- with Jim Belushi, Chris Farley, etc.

....Have out of wedlock kids with a man they just met who happens to already have children.

Sorry, that's just my pet peeve.

Guess we can't be friends OP, though I have the feeling I wouldn't be missing anything.

I don't drink...I do go to events with my friends who drink and I just order a soda. It doesn't bother me or them, so I really don't see a negative with that. I am usually the dd.

I am not going to complain to my friends about disagreements I have with my dh. I wouldn't want him complaining about me to his friends.

-I can't be friends with people who feel the need to smoke/do drugs around me.
-Gossip, look down upon, tear down others for any little thing

are racist.

People who must drink. I dropped a friend who wouldn't have one sober weekend when I came up to visit while pregnant, she even tried to get me to drink. Not being able to go 1 weekend without a drink = a problem IMO
