The country doesn’t want abortion bans. Ask 57% of Ohio voters who approved a constitutional amendment protecting abortion access.

Republican presidency= national abortion ban. It’s not complicated.

Most voters are not going to make their decision based only on abortion access. The country does not want far left policies.

Women’s healthcare, reproductive rights, privacy and bodily autonomy are not far left policies. The country will prove you wrong. Most voters will prove you wrong.

And the Democrats are going to have a woman with the ability to clearly articulate that message. It's going to drive a ton of female and youth votes as shown over the past two years.

KH is not articulate.

Most voters care about the cost of groceries and the border.

Come on Florida. Trump will go nothing for you but hasten your disappearance into the sea. Florida needs Harris!

Unfortunately, many voters are going to make their decision based only on abortion access. That was Trump's colossal mistake - touching something that wasn't broken. He should never have touched Roe v. Wade. But I also think that you shouldn't vote for POTUS solely on one issue alone. And it all depends on which issues are more important to you because even though I'm a moderate, I don't have a candidate that is so I'm going to have to look at all the issues which is why I am really hoping Harris picks a VP like Kelly. I also respect family/friends who are either pro-life or pro-choice and feel that the abortion issue is the most important issue for them either way. I'm not going to cancel or unfriend them. But honestly, even though I have a daughter, while it's up there as an important issue, it's not the only issue I care about. So, Harris/Kelly right now would be ideal.

Then they should be supporting the Dems anti=price gouging legislation and the bi-partisan bill that Trump torpedoed.

She seems perfectly articulate to me, and particularly as compared Biden and Trump.

I differ with you that it’s unfortunate— it’s a matter of life and death for women and girls in this country.

What’s super encouraging is that 74% of the under 30s support it. That means even men, even people who have the means to leave the country if they need to, are voting with empathy and compassion. That’s huge.

Not when they’re bleeding out in a bathroom they don’t. Not when their daughters are in the ICU.

Do you think Biden wouldve stepped down if Trump died last week?

Probably, but the timeline might have prevented it. Thinking this through, if Trump had died there would be two weeks or so of almost complete focus on his death and eventual funeral. During that time, Biden would probably be prevented from campaigning and no changes would be made. I assume that J. D. Vance would replace Trump which would have two effects: 1) Biden would appear even older when compared to Vance than he did already, and 2) Biden's justification for running — that only he could beat Trump — would have been overtaken by events. Therefore, Biden would have even more reasons to drop out than he does now. But, the halt on political activities required to morn Trump might push things too close to the convention to allow the change.

If a woman cannot control her own body, beyond the environment (clean water and air) what issue could be more important?

It's all relative, isn't it? Trump can barely complete a sentence, and Biden was struggling.

I don't disagree...just saying that because of Trump's colossal mistake it has now become for many the most important issue, which is unfortunate. It should never have been an issue to begin with (Roe v. Wade should have been left alone)....in a perfect world there would be other issues/policies that would be more important, but alas Trump ruined it.
