Joe Biden will go down as not only one of the greatest Presidents but as a hero who saved America by uplifting VP Harris, a Black/Asian/young/tough/smart woman. She will prosecute the case against MAGA, especially abortion.

I don’t think he is fine. I think he is much closer to death than we have been told.
It’s as if you’re manifesting Biden’s demise. What an awful, crappy person you are.

“Manifesting Biden’s demise” is not actually possible, though I am sure you believe it is entirely possible. Maybe try wearing a few of your quartz crystals that claim to stimulate brain activity. Perhaps you can persuade one of your two brain cells to divide, so you get four to work with.

Putting a spell on you right now Mags 🔮

The "new" number is rather astounding.

Yes and no. Yes— that’s huge. But, I’m among the 60%. And I might have voted for Biden because he’s ot Trump. But it would have been a hold your nose vote. Kamala excites me— but I’ve been a fan for years.

Yes, the 60% new donors who hadn’t yet donated to Biden but are donating to Harris is a good sign. That’s fence-sitters and double haters and people who weren’t fired up.

It is actually 60% new to Act Blue, so new Dem donors in generally.

I think it’s new this cycle, like people who donated in 2020 and or the midterms, but not yet this time. But also could include brand new to ActBlue? Either way, good stuff.

Do you think Biden wouldve stepped down if Trump died last week?

Yes.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the plan all along.

The timing seems good. Take all the focus off of the GOP asap after their convention. The GOP is not in the news now at all.

The country wants secure borders, equal opportunity (not equal outcome), etc. It’s not going to be enough for Biden to simply be out of the race—the country does not want far left policies.

The country doesn’t want abortion bans. Ask 57% of Ohio voters who approved a constitutional amendment protecting abortion access.

Republican presidency= national abortion ban. It’s not complicated.

Most voters are not going to make their decision based only on abortion access. The country does not want far left policies.

Women’s healthcare, reproductive rights, privacy and bodily autonomy are not far left policies. The country will prove you wrong. Most voters will prove you wrong.

And the Democrats are going to have a woman with the ability to clearly articulate that message. It's going to drive a ton of female and youth votes as shown over the past two years.

The Trump ceiling is what has the MAGAs worried. They know he cannot expand his coalition so theyve been trying to drive people out of the dem coalition with doubts about Bidens age. That strategy is now gone and actually can work against him.

Yeah, there's that 38 percent who will let him do anything he wants to them and they'll stick by him. There's 6 or 7 percent who do not like him but figure "what the hell"... he can't get anyone else. It's been his problem from Day 1 except the base number is slowly ticking down.

This is the ONLY thing she may be able to coherently discuss. She certainly cannot talk about her work as border czar. Or about how the Biden/Harris admin saw the worst inflation in years and voters are still suffering from the high prices.

Okay, let's see how it goes. The public hasn't seen a Presidential figure able to articulate a message in nearly 8 years so it's going to be a shock to the system.

Hahahahahaha
That woman is a moron. She will do nothing but embarrass herself. She will fall out of that coconut tree for sure.

I laughed so hard…

No one becomes AG of California by falling out of any tree. You are the moron because your itsy bitsy, teeny weeny malehood is shrinking to nothing at the thought of a woman being elected president of the US. Get used to it glass bowl!

So she won in the midst of a historic red wave?

+1

I pulled a bunch of stats on support for Democratic policies on the depressed Democrat thread and something like 68% of Americans think abortion should be legal in all or most circumstances, 70% think climate change is real and we should be addressing it, etc. Democratic policies are very popular.
