You wish and I’m not even a Trump supporter. KH is a very weak candidate with no record to run on, was complicit in lying to the American public and could barely make a run for it in 2016. She may be historic - and I am excited by that - but it is not enough.

Huh? She ran and won in 2016.

More like, she was simply attached to the ticket. No one actually wanted to imagine what she would be like as - god forbid - President Kamala Harris.

I mean, he is correct. Not sure how you could possibly argue with the facts, but sure - shoot the messenger.

The country wants secure borders, equal opportunity (not equal outcome), etc. It’s not going to be enough for Biden to simply be out of the race—the country does not want far left policies.

The country doesn’t want abortion bans. Ask 57% of Ohio voters who approved a constitutional amendment protecting abortion access.

Republican presidency= national abortion ban. It’s not complicated.

Most voters are not going to make their decision based only on abortion access. The country does not want far left policies.

Women’s healthcare, reproductive rights, privacy and bodily autonomy are not far left policies. The country will prove you wrong. Most voters will prove you wrong.

And the Democrats are going to have a woman with the ability to clearly articulate that message. It's going to drive a ton of female and youth votes as shown over the past two years.

KH is not articulate.

Most voters care about the cost of groceries and the border.

LOL! Keep believing that your Fox News bubble is everyone.

Come on Florida. Trump will go nothing for you but hasten your disappearance into the sea. Florida needs Harris!

As a bonus DeSantis’ head will explode.

The difference being that Obama was actually a good orator. Kamala will string together her nonsense phrases and idiots will applaud. We’ve all seen it before.

Kamala is actually an excellent orator in places like the judiciary committee. Very sharp, precise and concise. She had trouble making the transition to dumbing it down for the masses and especially for being a sharp orator while still being “likeable” (which women must be. Otherwise they are b*thcy). She is a lawyer and was a prosecutor. That’s a different skill set than candidate. Hence the odd sharp remark with a laugh and smile that don’t match it in 2020.

I’m hoping three years of meets and greets and VP feel good stops have honed her soft skills. Because she is most definitely not dumb or incompetent or a poor communicator. She did have trouble dumbing it down in 2020 though. Let’s see what she’s learned.

Wait… you’re going to go with she has been “dumbing it down for the masses”?? Are you high?

I think the problem was that she couldn’t dumb it down for the masses well. Like it or not, if it can’t be a TikTok, a sound bite, a viral video clip or a meme, many Americans and tune it out. Lawyers are precise. And detailed. That is not the stuff of memes and viral videos (in a good way).

And that’s not necessarily defending her. Whether I like it or not, it’s a skill a politician needs in 2024. Capturing complex policy is a soundbite or viral video. She didn’t have it in 2020.

I’m sorry, but this is a skill she does not have. It’s actually shocking that you would suggest all of the videos of her word salads are simply her “dumbing it down for the masses.” That’s some major wishful thinking.

On the contrary, considering Biden’s age, even during the first term, it was quite possible she’d become a president. Most of the people voting would have had that in mind.

Well, based on their donations to Harris's campaign in the last 2 days, it's definitely looking that way.

I stole this from another poster on the 40K on Zoom call thread. Look at all the small dollar donations from the cities of Florida. That's a lot of voters.

This is a map of new small dollar donations since Biden dropped out.

Yes, and actually willingly. No one would have had to insist/force him out.

This is the ONLY thing she may be able to coherently discuss. She certainly cannot talk about her work as border czar. Or about how the Biden/Harris admin saw the worst inflation in years and voters are still suffering from the high prices.

She was never the “border czar,” so no she’s not going to talk about that.

Hahahahahaha
That woman is a moron. She will do nothing but embarrass herself. She will fall out of that coconut tree for sure.

I laughed so hard…

No one becomes AG of California by falling out of any tree. You are the moron because your itsy bitsy, teeny weeny malehood is shrinking to nothing at the thought of a woman being elected president of the US. Get used to it glass bowl!

So she won in the midst of a historic red wave?

I think so, which is why he made that point in the thread. We shall see.

I pulled a bunch of stats on support for Democratic policies on the depressed Democrat thread and something like 68% of Americans think abortion should be legal in all or most circumstances, 70% think climate change is real and we should be addressing it, etc. Democratic policies are very popular.

Wait - you mean you simply went through a thread and tallied up responses? Or do you have actual citations?

It's sad really that the MAGAs don't have any new material to work with so they're digging deep to look at her 2010 election. She's not old, not a criminal nor has criminal family members, not responsible for Biden's foreign policy failures or inflation. She can reasonably distance herself from whatever she needs to. Sorry MAGAs, that dog don't hunt.

Different DP

People voted for the ticket BECAUSE of her. If you don't know that, you are in a bubble.
