Omg that guy was amazing!!! Hahahahaha

What were his crazy mouth movements when he was asked about Willie Wonka?? I'm still laughing. The judge had to tell him "yes, you have to answer the questions."

I thought he started out strong but then ultimately blew his own credibility trying too hard to "beat" the lawyer on cross.

I can’t understand why Heard’s team picked him. He was a terrible and combative expert which didn’t help her case. At least find someone who doesn’t act like they have tardive dyskinesia

He actually testified that he came to an “expert opinion” based on analyzing depp’s performance in “pirate” movies and then that he knew absolutely nothing about acting. What in the world. He was an insult to whatever his field of expertise is, and her legal team insulted the entire legal process, and absolutely let down survivors everywhere. Outrageous!

He did not say this! And this is a perfect example of how Depp’s lawyers and the media use snippets out of context. If you haven’t watched or listened to the trial in its entirety, you are not a reliable source.

You’re not an expert qualified to give that opinion.

She’s not testifying.

DP. She is claiming to know how the injury likely occurred without having reviewed any of the medical records, so she deserves to be called out as a quack.

She can have an opinion.

The Deppford Wives lie so much. It’s really strange. I’ve never loved anything as much as they love 90s and 00s era Johnny Depp.

No one else has to take her seriously.

The guy was called as an expert. Anything he says is considered his expert opinion. He said he developed his opinion based on reviewing depp’s performances. Tell me where I’m wrong.

np, he did say many things similar to what pp posted. You have to listen to the cross. He guessed and assumed many things about JD and acting, then admitted he didn't really know. He forgot that he called JD an idiot in his deposition.

No need to argue.

Let's apply the same standard as when we all started to analyze Trump's behavior as President. No psychiatrist or psychologist was allowed near him for years, yet we all knew there was something wrong with him based on his public appearances and speeches.

Here it appears to be the same thing. Both parties may not have been assessed to the most stringent medical standards, as all the experts freely acknowledged in their careful choice of words, but from all the stories coming out, you can infer that neither party is entirely sane. They each need a very understanding and caring spouse, and neither could provide that for each other.

Thank goodness they didn't have children.

Good for you all to have skipped one of life’s most painful cruelties, but wow the disbelief and lack of compassion that is engendering makes me almost wish it on you.

Maybe we do have a concept and lived it, but never acted like Amber - it's hard to relate to her.

Sounds like his depo was as consistent as Heard’s. What a bunch of clowns. This is the best she could do? Is no one asking themselves why she can’t seem to find any credible, legitimate experts or witnesses?

New poster. He didn’t call him an idiot. He said it would be an idiot thing to do to fly in for a deposition without having time beforehand, which was what he thought depp was doing. It’s not like he literally called him an idiot. I’m not a fan of this witness but don’t make things up to make him look worse.

New poster- In the depo he called him an idiot. He tried to walk it back on cross on the stand.

I’ve deposed experts and was stunned by what a poor witness he was.

While I do think he physically abused her and will lose, I also think she severed the finger with the bottle. I found the dr credible but the photographs of the scene with the broken vodka bottle, blood, tissue, etc show me the injury happened where and how depp said. I also think his statement right after it happened that she caused it is persuasive.

LOL, sure. No glass in the wound, no other cuts on his hand, the bottle manages to land with such a perfect explosion that a single piece of glass cut through the tip without leaving any trace, and not a single other piece of glass nicked him anywhere else. That’s definitely more plausible than him having closed it in a door or something.

+1. Basic physics just doesn't add up. Plus he texted people at the time saying he cut it off.

great that he can still text with his finger tip removed....was there blood all over his phone or was he just telling Siri to contact certain people?

"so I mean he's an idiot" was read from his deposition

I could see how a thrown bottle might crush, but not slice. It just doesn't add up.

I assume the bottle hit something, shattered and then a piece flew into his finger. Last week my kids kicked a ball into my coffee cup—he cup shattered into two pieces, one of which flew upward and hit my in the head. If it was glass instead of ceramic, I certainly would have had a good slice through my scalp. The physics of it surprised the hell out of me.

we need a lab with some crash dummies and a lot of vodka bottles
all this $ spent on experts and no reconstruction of the finger accident....
