Why don’t they watch golden girls and see what type of humor/mannerisms are appropriate for some of their age |
Oh man I sort of enjoyed these two episodes. |
I enjoyed the episodes with the exception of Che and Miranda. Cringy. Just not a match and I have no interesting in watching them together. I liked seeing Miranda on the beach - the old Miranda and more real. The clothes, like always, are fun to watch. |
I was definitely entertained and will keep watching. I find Charlotte's fillers really painful to look at - and it looks like SJP has started doing them, too.
I enjoyed Miranda on her own - still hate Che, though they were less terrible in the first two eps than last season. Nya seems like she's on a ship alone - I think she has the best clothes, is the best actor, and could have a good storyline. But she's not really part of this whole world. I'd watch a show of just her. |
Kristen Davis's fillers make it sound like she's got cotton balls in her mouth. |
+1 The FaceTime scene with her and her husband was some of the best comedy in the whole show so far. And it takes a good actor to have all these scenes sioled by herself. |
I like Seema but they are writing her too much like Samantha. I cant believe they cant write something a little more original for her. Miranda is a shell of herself. It's not working. I thought Charlotte had less filler or am I just used to it now? I hope we see Carrie date around before Aiden shows up. |
Because it’s meaningful to her to show a later-in-life attraction to a non-binary person. |
+1 Miranda’s storyline reminds me of Samantha being ignored by Smith in LA in the first movie and of Carrie being ignored in Paris by Petrovsky. I assume the pilot isn’t going to get picked up so they’ll be back in NYC soon. |
Justice for Steve.
Justice for Steve. Justice for Steve Brady! He is way too good for her, always was. I really want to see him get his full say, and see him happy. |
The fact that no one can remember his name and he’s just “the podcast producer” should tell you everything you need to know about how terrible the writing/character development is. He’s a significant lover in that he is Carrie’s first partner since the death of her husband. And we can’t remember the cute sap’s name. |
The point is he’s just a booty call. Also, the man is good looking but a really terrible actor. |
+1 agree- just fast forward through their scenes. Just not believable. There’s no spark between them at all. |
PLEASE GOD SOMEONE HELP ME WHY WERE THEY BLOWDRYING HER DRY HAIR IS THIS A NEW THING WHAT DOES IT MEAN |
OK but Che is unfunny and they have zero chem |
