Yes and no. Yes— that’s huge. But, I’m among the 60%. And I might have voted for Biden because he’s ot Trump. But it would have been a hold your nose vote. Kamala excites me— but I’ve been a fan for years.

Yes, the 60% new donors who hadn’t yet donated to Biden but are donating to Harris is a good sign. That’s fence-sitters and double haters and people who weren’t fired up.

Joe Biden will go down as not only one of the greatest Presidents but as a hero who saved America by uplifting VP Harris, a Black/Asian/young/tough/smart woman. She will prosecute the case against MAGA, especially abortion.

I don’t think he is fine. I think he is much closer to death than we have been told.
It’s as if you’re manifesting Biden’s demise. What an awful, crappy person you are.

Small, pathetic people, just like Trump. Schoolyard bullies who never grew up. That is maga.

Truth. RNC was a freak show. I tried, but couldn’t stop looking. Even scarier when I muted sound. Then I saw the red dress crotch scratching person pop up in my feed at 5 am the next morning 😵

It’s also “hold your nose and vote” folks— I’ll do it because Not Trump. But not donating as if I support his decision to run again.

He’s such a whiny old fart. His handlers should take away his cell phone before he embarrasses himself even more.

I'm not a Republican, I'm a leftist/anarchist and I don't like Joe Biden. I do also notice some angry conservatives in this thread, but tbh I don't see a huge difference between Biden and Trump.

I'm relieved to have Kamala Harris as an option over Genocide Joe, but that doesn't mean I'm ok with this two-party system that is strangling my money and my right to exist in a real democracy.

You don’t exist in a democracy. You exist in a Democratic Republic. And if you want more options, you want a Parliamentary Democracy like much of Europe. That’s where consensus and coalition building and non-binary choice happen. But while we have the electoral college, that type of system is impossible here and a real third party can’t happen. That’s reality. I don’t like it. But I understand it is.

Exactly. No one even knew the current Prime Minister of Britain until it was announced a few weeks ago. Away with this two parties.

The excitement will fade with time. There's a reason she didn't catch on the last time she ran for president. She doesn't project smarts or charisma. Watching her speak today, I can see why the White House has kept her hidden for the past three years. She'd never be the nominee in a real primary. There's a lack of authenticity. And people will pick up on that.

I’m so glad Trump heeded the calls for unity and acting like a statesman. The Republicans must be very proud of their candidate.

A reminder of what he'll bring to the White House. Whenever something isn't going his way, he has a temper tantrum on social media. What's gotten lost in the Biden-Trump matchup is that Trump was never a great candidate this year. He was consistently losing 15-20% of the vote to Haley voters who are just done with his nonstop drama. He was a great candidate against Biden though, and that's obscured things.

She isn't inauthentic. She isn't condescending or mean-spirited. She's awkward. And cringe.

Upon reflection, I am fine with a cringe president who laughs.

Yes.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the plan all along.
