Plus she gets all the money already donated to the ticket. Womp womp. |
Sure. Whatever you say 🤭 |
You’re so convincing. |
dp. I'm now more hopeful than I was two days ago regarding this election, but PP is right.. KH is a weak candidate, and they really need do a good job selling her. The media and the right have been blaming her for the border mess for the past three years. She really needs to do damage control on that. As for the rest, she's a non entity (as most VPs are), but she did have a weak showing in the primaries in 2020, so again, her team has a lot of work they need to do to raise her profile in a positive way. We have three months. |
Huh? She ran and won in 2016. |
No demographic votes as a uniform block. But Gen Z breaks for Dems. “least religious, least Republican” demo. Let’s look at facts, shall we? https://www.axios.com/2024/01/23/gen-z-less-religious-more-liberal-lgbtq |
I think the problem was that she couldn’t dumb it down for the masses well. Like it or not, if it can’t be a TikTok, a sound bite, a viral video clip or a meme, many Americans and tune it out. Lawyers are precise. And detailed. That is not the stuff of memes and viral videos (in a good way). And that’s not necessarily defending her. Whether I like it or not, it’s a skill a politician needs in 2024. Capturing complex policy is a soundbite or viral video. She didn’t have it in 2020. |
You don’t exist in a democracy. You exist in a Democratic Republic. And if you want more options, you want a Parliamentary Democracy like much of Europe. That’s where consensus and coalition building and non-binary choice happen. But while we have the electoral college, that type of system is impossible here and a real third party can’t happen. That’s reality. I don’t like it. But I understand it is. |
