Well if Moscow says so…
|
Umm…. Close. But not quite. Trump was openly pondering the importance of NATO. A second term and Trump would have killed it. |
I'm cheering for him. But I'm also waiting for a Milkshake Duck reveal at some point. |
This is not Moscow saying so. https://www.ft.com/content/7d566088-7d25-4fde-9b02-311f86eb845e |
No. You don't get to blame her for Putin's insanity. |
Huh? How am I blaming Merkel for Putin’s insanity? I’m blaming her for surrendering Germany’s energy independence. |
I don't read pp's comments as "blaming" her for this war. This is all on Putin. But, she is correct in pointing out how Germany has come to rely on Russian oil which has "complicated" their position here. |
yes it is. |

For the love of all that is holy, what Putin claims about their hypersonic programs is not reality. All of these articles being linked claiming they have hypersonic missiles are based on what the Kremlin is trying to project to the world. Many of the claims have never been able to be independently verified.
So if you want to buy what he's selling hook, line, and sinker, go right ahead. But know you're buying into lies |

If it isn’t true, why don’t we send massive drone army into Ukraine and flatten all Russian assets? |
|
So Russia has hypersonic missiles that fly at 8 times the speed of sound. And the US doesn't have hypersonic weapons?
We for example have 400 nuclear-tipped LGM-30 Minuteman III ICBMs which fly at 23 times the speed of sound. |
He is dragging other countries into his war, he said he wants volunteers from other countries. Fine, but I am sorry, it's not OUR war. USA has no business going into a full blown war with a nuclear power to save another "democracy" that had its own basket of problems all these years and in fact, had a civil war type of situation in its eastern parts for a while now. This wasn't our business then and it's not our business now. We shouldn't go beyond sanctions and humanitarian aid for the citizens of Ukraine and trying to save innocent civilians from this situation. If we stick to this and don't send troops beyond civilian evacuation asistance, if we don't threaten any military action or cyber attacks, I think we'll be fine. I doubt Russians want their country flattened. Even if we have more power to flatten them first, they have enough to flatten some of our cities too, this isn't giving me warm fuzzies. There are 3 countries that would be totally idiotic for us to get into war with: Russia, China, North Korea. You cannot console yourself with the citizens of these countries trying to control their despots, we have to be more diplomatically savvy and avoid direct conflict. The end. |
Who the f cares? If we engage into this type of warfare it will wipe out most of the world, nobody wins. How you are all getting fuzzies from our military prowess puzzles me. This isn't our war. And this isn't Iraq or Syria or any other country we could harmlessly fight on their land from afar. And even if there will be only 1-2 nuclear or other horrible weapon fire exchanges, it still can devastate large swaths for decades and it can kill millions of civilians. |
