Van Lifer couple camping in Utah national park - two weeks later fiancee arrives in FL alone

Sure seems like consciousness of guilt to me!

“What Type of Evidence Can Create A Consciousness of Guilt Argument?

Consciousness of guilt is the inference that the defendant knows that he is guilty of a crime because he has taken one or more of the following actions after it. These actions include:

Fleeing from the crime scene or jurisdiction,
False alibies,
Changing or altering personal appearance,
Hiding or destroying evidence,
Bribing a witness,
Intimidating a witness or even killing a witness.“

Cannot believe the FBI didn’t check this out themselves. The parents should be arrested for impeding an investigation into a missing person (Brian.) They have false statements about his last known location.

How do we know that the FBI didn't check this out themselves?

Because they kept searching an inhabitable swamp preserve instead of here, a much more likely hiding spot?

We’ve been saying for days that camper was involved somehow - can’t believe the FBI didn’t figure out where the Laundrie’s drove it before today!

I kept thinking the FBI was searching elsewhere, too, and just not publicizing it. Huh. If they weren’t, that’s nuts.

Is the Dog guy required to share leads and evidence with the FBI first before talking about it on TV?

I can't post this image. no idea why. dang!

Did you see photo of Dog the Bounty Hunter at BL door? Go Dog!

Here’s a video of Dog explaining why he got involved and where he thinks Brian is at.

Wish people like him would be out helping all the other families of missing or murdered people and not just the ones who make national news.

Feel the same way and even with John Walsh. I have great respect for John Walsh, but question why he is throwing all his attention and resources into this one case. I hope it’s not just for the publicity, but sure looks like it.

Are the other cases as interesting? If people vanish with no clues and no suspects, there is only so much to talk about.

Eh. You should check out the vanished or solvable podcast. There’s frequently a difference between no clues and poorly investigated missing persons due to societal prejudices that isn’t readily obvious.

John Walsh isn't the household name he used to be. Using some of these big high profile cases to get some new viewers and followers can bring in new eyes for the other cases he pursues.

YES exactly. That's what I said earlier but PP is like 80 years old and thinks everybody knows who he is and loves him. How many of you are even old enough to have watched America's Most Wanted in its prime? Very few.

He doesn’t have the authority to apprehend Brian, so he has to alert the FBI.

It sounds like the police who pulled them over DID know that BL had hit GP.

I am so disgusted that they gave GP a hard time about possibly being charged with DV when they KNEW that he had hit her.

Then, the officer checked BL into a hotel and shook his hand.

So sickening. That officer should feel great remorse and should lose his job.

I mean it's awful, but they asked her and she lied. This is the problem domestic abusers, their victims are trained to lie about what's really going on. It's so sad.

I’m 40 and I watched America’s most wanted as a child. I don’t think I’m that old!

I am thrilled Dog is on this case. However, why is he broadcasting his discovery to the world? Brian's parents are going to call his burner phone and let him know he needs to move.

Thx for sharing this link PP.
Great, informative article included.

After analyzing the 1:17 long video of the 8/12 incident - it was clear that Gabby was in so much distress that evening while Brian was not.
Yet she was the one who they left out in the desert, completely alone not knowing the area or a soul in the town.
She told the cops that she didn’t want the van 🚐 because she didn’t feel comfortable driving it.
It is much more dangerous for a young Female vs. a Male to be out alone in a desert w/out much money or resources.
The officer at the scene stressed that they couldn’t treat the situation based on their genders either way, but someone should have acknowledged that in reality, sending Gabby off w/no resources to fend for herself was definitely a terrible decision.
Especially when Brian was personally escorted to a paid-for hotel.

Yes those officers should be fired.
No they didn’t have a hand in Gabby’s actual demise but they handled the situation very poorly. 😿

If they left BL with the van, I’m sure he’d have called her and found her hotel/motel. With a vehicle she wasn’t comfortable driving, she was in a batter position. She could call her parents for assistance / money / advice or driven away without him. The latter was a stretch but I think she was better off in the van than in the hotel.

Did either of them actually say they didn't have money for a hotel. I know they said they didn't know anyone in town. Not long after Gabby stayed in a hotel for a few days while Brian flew back to Florida for a few days to do whatever he was doing with the storage unit. Where did the money come from for the flight and hotel stay then?

The police did ask for their phone numbers. I do wish when they did the reports that they would have caught all the 911 information, that they would have contacted Gabby to say there was a witness that Brian struck her and ask if she wished to press charges or needed help.

Is there proof that he went back to Florida? I haven't seen any proof of this.

He’s probably sending a message to Brian and his parents - you can run but you can’t hide. Dog always gets his man.

So he panics or feels the heat and makes a dumb move.
