My understanding is Depps financial manager wrote a each to each charity for 100k each and then Elon Musk donated 500k on her behalf. She didn’t send any money directly herself.

I don’t think she was counting it because she argued Depp was going to get a tax benefit from it which she didn’t want him to have and then demanded the entire payment be sent to her directly.
