| Is McLean next? |
We don’t see McLean in ccl top tier. They went to NCSL at younger ages with top teams, as did bryc. Both were getting walloped in ccl, at least on boys side. |
There are still a few solid clubs like Herndon, Alexandria, Richmond, and SYA. But it’s shrinking fast. |
Alexandria jst had MLSnext expanded up to its older age groups. |
Alexandra's littles on the girls side are playing NCSL http://elements.demosphere-secure.com/80738/teams/99930870/100433473-99931031/TEAM.html http://elements.demosphere-secure.com/80738/teams/99930870/96359990-99931003/TEAM.html |
They are reeling. In the last month, aside from losing their larger and most competitive clubs, their President (Beach), VP (Arlington) and Secretary (Legacy) have left. It appears their expansion surpassed the ability to keep important members involved and happy with the developments. Suffice to say, ECNL-R will be a pretty strong league. |

U16 practice last night from the coach's mouth. |
thanks |
| I can assume some of the weaker teams may fall out of the old NPL as well. |
| We are stuck in the of the CCL Clubs and everytime we bring up DA/ECNL/etc we get the BS line of CCL. Our TD needs to go, he isn’t creative and has no vision. |
you're not stuck, you choose to be stuck. Sing DD up for tryouts with teams playing in the leagues you prefer |
This is a pretty dumb belief. You take your kid to the club that offers the product that you want. |
EDP is a good option that more Virginia teams should look at. It's based on how good your team is and not just the club you're at. Pro/reg do happen so you play competitive teams. |
+1 this is our first year doing EDP and honesty it has been a better experience than CCL. |
