Thanks! What kind of travel is involved for ECNL-R? Is this the S. Carolina thing ?

The email Arlington Travel Soccer just received.

For us non-ASA can you please elaborate?

Is this for their red teams, the ones below current ECNL teams? And, if so what does this mean in terms of travel? Are parents upset by this?

Red (U11 and up) is going to ECNL, white is going to NCSL.

Red is the second team after U11. Academy is going ecnl. Red to ecnl-r (big difference). White and Blue to NCSL.

Has anyone at a club that is still currently in ccl heard from the club as to ccl’s plans for the upcoming future? Has anyone addressed what the departure of other local clubs means for the league?

You knew this was coming right? CCL was in a desperate race to get bigger so they could survive this. Let’s see what happens.

You know it will kill a few clubs. I just hope the kids do not waste a year or two. They just do not have a lot of time to waste.

Shocked CCL hasn’t said anything.

Yeah sure can you imagine that, them tweeting that two of their biggest clubs are leaving? Yeah sure thing.

CCL has no decent clubs anymore. ECNL-R pretty much ruined the league by taking the best clubs away from there
