Those are all certainly words.

Wouldn’t expect either of you to understand.

Maybe stick to one metaphor per sentence?

He was dismissed from those lawsuits. Find your #MeToo pound of flesh elsewhere.

NP here. Pound of flesh? The guy dated the models from the Price is Right and insisted they wear skimpier bathing suits. He was the boss. I don’t care about Me too or whatever. I care that this beefcake is gross and I don’t want to watch him on my escape TV show.

Beefcake? Richards is a totally normal suburban dad/family guy. I know them. Sounds like you just are hell bent on someone else and grasping at straws here.

Of course you do, PR shill!

How cute—pp thinks there is just one of us.

I wish, where do I collect my money?! Have you scorched enough earth yet with your unhinged vendetta about a game show host?

I love the agony. Pour one out for Mike the Dick Richards facing disappointment after using his wife and kids as human shields against his own total lack of character.

Wow are you ok? So much emotion over a …….. game show.

Like wow. Maybe you can….hit a thread that interests you, ya loser.

Don’t blow a gasket granny!

Why are you so incredibly nasty and name-calling posters who love the show instead of the guy who rigged a job process, lied, played victim, apologized with the insincerity of a snake-oil salesman, and who the all-time winners of the game he wants to take over absolutely hate? Do you just love white guys who look like they were door guards during college sex assaults? It’s most definitely a choice.

If you don’t care about the topic, why are you commenting? Why are so many people who clearly don’t like the show and haven’t read The Ringer article defending this slime?

Because you people are so weird and worked up. It is its own form of entertainment. Far more interesting than jeopardy.

So you’re dumb, the game irritates you because it taps into that insecurity, and you’re pissy because a mediocre nothing guy was exposed for what he is.

Yet you keep responding, no new jeopardy news today? I don’t care about mike at all I am amused by morons like you. I wonder what jeopardies biggest fans are like. Its like a weird subculture i didn’t know existed.

NP. And yet…here you are, on a thread about a show you don’t watch and a host you don’t care about, posting your little heart out.

+ 1.

Not quite. You people think watching Jeopardy makes you smart, but really, not so much. I came here because I didn't realize that the Mike I knew was the Jeopardy guy, I never knew what he did for a living even though I knew the family so I was interested. And then it all blew up, but then I've stayed because you are all so weirdly hostile and aggressive over a game show. I'll stay as long as I like, thanks, as long as you're all so weird and amusing.

Yikes…

She or he is why this thread is weird. A friend desperate to defend a manipulative, untalented douchelord. Yikes indeed.

You are attributing all the pro Mike posts to one person? I'm not the OP of this thread nor have I posted anything defending his posts that came to light. I only said I didn't think he was a beefcake to whoever posted that. Hate to break it to you but there is more than one person posting here.

That’s awesome, you can all get a group therapy rate.

It's weird to have people come out defending this total unknown guy. Part of me suspects there's a subset of people who jump to the defense of any underqualified white guy with a history of racist/misogynist comments because they self identify with them.

Or it could be Mike himself. He has less to do now that he’s no longer host.

There’s some chance he won’t keep his Exec Producer job.

Boring* was the wrong and cruel word. Ken is the SAFE pick. He's got a solid personality. He's perfect for the gig.

THIS.

The Ringer article is amazing and says everything you need to know. Ugh. There really is a guy like this in every office.

I was just amazed that on another thread, people seemed to find him handsome and charming. His fakeness could be seen from space. How anyone could see his beady-eyed plea for kindness and take it seriously is beyond, before all the revelations of his total asshole nature.

That thread was a plant.

Time to wonder who at Sony this guy has naked pictures of.

Look at that smug, fug face. Yeah, I’m sure sensitivity training will cure his asshole personality.

Yeah I’m not really getting that he’s too slimy to be a host but it’s fine to have him as boss of a huge tv show staff. Weird sony logic.

I mean sensitivity training doesn't really address how he's demoralized staff behind the scenes and made a blatant power grab.

I mean I guess this is a monkey's paw thing. Dude wanted to be famous. Congrats.

Yeah and since there’s evidence that he tried to skew the selection process so he would be chosen (ex: Meredith Viera not being allowed to try out, LeVar Burton given only 1 tryout day rather than 2, how do they know he won’t screw with the process this time around?)

CNN reporting Richards is out as Executive Producer as well.
