This feels true. The wildly left lunge it feels like we have been taking on Ed issues is really alienating. I am voting D still but would feel more comfortable doing so if the D candidate starts distancing a bit from that after the primary.

Virginia traditionally elects of a Governor from the other party than the President after a Presidential election.
McAuliffe is such an obvious phony. He doesn't believe half the words that come out of his mouth. He only cares about money and power. Carroll Foy runs on nothing other than her gender and skin color. Carter is a radical socialist with the maturity of a child. Fairfax is an accused sex offender. The Democrats have only one decent candidate - in both the literal and figurative sense of the word - in Jennifer McClellan, and she may not be high-energy enough for the D voters.
Youngkin would presumably tack towards the center if he gets through a R primary. I would not count him out at all.
