She is not even close to being a viable candidate in a state-wide election unless the R’s nominate Chase, which seems unlikely.

If R nominates chase then it’s an easy win for D. Hope they don’t.

They will pick their own. Qarni will be gone. No need to vote for Governor based on education issues even though the republican machine is in overdrive trying to convince people to do this.

Terry sent his kids to privates and Langley HS, which is a quasi-private, but he'll support "equity" anywhere in the Commonwealth so long as it doesn't touch his privileged corner of McLean/Great Falls.

Not necessarily. That's something that is going to have to be seen. The way D politics has been going, it's more likely he will stay.

If Youngkin can win the R convention he will likely win the Governor’s race. Virginians are moderate by nature and already tiring of the Democrats’ hypocrisy and overreach. And the Democrats own the local School Boards’ embrace of CRT, which is deeply unpopular with rank-and-file voters.

I think McAuliffe would be smart to start televising he plans to pick someone else. That current guy at VDOE is TOXIC

This feels true. The wildly left lunge it feels like we have been taking on Ed issues is really alienating. I am voting D still but would feel more comfortable doing so if the D candidate starts distancing a bit from that after the primary.

Lol. Probably a good thing. He’s not terribly popular in the parts of the state where people actually live .... even amongst Republicans.

LOL. He’s Trump trash still peddling The Big Lie.

He’s running on “restore confidence in voting process” and “restore commonwealth to greatness”. With Ted Cruz.

Dude has ZERO chance.

I’m voting R (for the first time in my life) regardless of who it is. Democrats need a wake up call regarding school closures and woke wackiness.

Justin Fairfax is the best choice. A POC, and prior experience as a state executive. Foy would be great in 2025.

But right now the MOST important thing is getting a POC into the governor’s mansion. It’s long past time for that to happen, and then we can honestly say that finally Virginia has really and truly ripped out of the south and is part of America now.
