She’s a beautiful woman with her own money. I think she could at least hope to marry someone that isn’t dysfunctional and an alcoholic. Especially considering the majority of men don’t in fact have substance abuse problems.

And he is at a minimum a second generation alcoholic and drug addict. Not fantastic genetic material for a kiddo. Joe Biden is also “set for life” but most people would rather live an average life and have kids with all of Hunter’s issues.

She is young and beautiful. She could find someone wealthy without the rampant issues. You know having kids with someone who has substance abuse issues makes the kids more prone to addiction as well, right? Not to mention he is a known serial cheater.

Agreed. At 32, she is aware of what she’s doing. I’m nearly the same age. She probably wants to settle down and/but Ben was too intriguing an opportunity to pass up. Regardless of his baggage, he is an A list actor who clearly has the charm to have dated and married some of the biggest actresses in his industry. Sure, he’s 48, but matters less when you’re a guy and even being in that realm of association is a huge opportunity for her. She took the opportunity and made the choice to fall in love with him, and she will take it as far as he’s willing to go. If she’s being realistic, I’m sure she knows it’s not a forever thing, but it’s a life choice she did not want to pass up.
