I would find that smothering.

Still as unprofessional as ever with these two hanging all over each other at work events. It's why people don't take them seriously. And Harry tearing up during a speech? Please. So dramatic.

Work events? This isn't Deloitte Touche.

Really? I find it sexist and demeaning. Being a woman doesn't mean I need help to walk down stairs or step onto a curb. He obviously has the belief that women are weak and fragile and need a man's help to even walk. I would never marry a man who saw women that way.

Maybe she’s clumsy? Maybe she’s fallen in her ridiculous heels?

I don’t think she’s pregnant. She seems the type who will put her baby on a pedestal and won’t want to take attention away from him.

He’s helping Meghan. Not all women.

Did you take a look at those heels? You sound insufferable. I feel sorry for your partner.

+1

They are so extra. But funny that it makes people like the PP swoon though.

Thankfully, it seems that Meghan and Harry are a match made in heaven. They like each other and are affectionate and sweet with each other. Reminds me of how affectionate is and how protective my DH was when I was pregnant.

For those women who hate so much coddling - I am glad you all are married to men who do not coddle you. May they continue to not coddle you and not show you any affection at all. You all are really deserving of what you want. Hopefully, over the years they will be less and less affectionate, because you are deserving of the lack of consideration, affection from your DH for the rest of your life. Amen.

She's definitely much heavier than before she had Archie.

She did not snap back like Queen Kate does.

Kate definitely wins the snap back game!

I actually have so much more respect for women in the public eye who DO NOT make their main goal to "snap back". I think the entire idea that women's bodies are supposed to show NO signs of having grown a baby disgusting. Picking apart a woman's body after giving birth is a sad and sorry past time.

Nope, sorry. She has zero excuse to still look this way when her entire life now revolves around appearances. She has trainers, stylists, nutritionists, dietitians, etc at her disposal. For someone so concerned with her image, it's baffling that she still looks like this so she's either pregnant again or dealing with health issues. Not to mention--she jets off to (non-mandatory) social events all the time without her kid so she clearly has the time to be working on her post-baby body. It's literally her job!

Hold on. Her job is to attend royal events and further royal causes. She's a royal; not a model. She can do her job with baby weight.

And she has a great excuse to look this way as she just had a baby. I say this as someone who doesn't even like her or Harry, but your expectations for her are out of whack.

Wear shoes you can walk in by yourself. You are an adult. Don't feel sorry for my partners. He likes having a wife who is independent and modern enough that she can walk by herself without his help.

not to mention the fact that the issue appears to be diastasis recti. the only cure for that is a pretty grueling and painful surgery, that you can't do until a year after delivery of your last baby.

O the royals have people who work with and decide on their wardrobe choices for various events? Can the individual goose what to wear, or are they told what to wear?

I’m specifically wondering about the very high heels. Is she being told to wear those, or is she somehow required to by the wardrobe people? I’ve read lots of advice to pregnant women to avoid very high heels, yet there Meghan is in pictures wearing them when she was pregnant? I don’t understand making that choice as a pregnant woman- my center of gravity was so off that I probably would have toppled over in heels like that.

Argh, “Do the royals” and “Can the individual choose”.
Sorry.

Women can wear high heels while pregnant. Especially women who spent the majority of their careers in them and are physically toned.
