He went a bit over the top claiming to have attended 50 Knick shows when his child was little. Come on, now.

Exactly. They don't want their tactics and methods revealed.
Their tactics? It was one very sick individual.

Evil is the word. Evil Knick Sh$t. And beware, there are many more just like him. Imagine having to wonder if he molested your little boy after a birthday party. Perhaps even the birthday boy got ‘special’ time with this pervert. I recommend sticking with women for young children. Big time.
So I guess you’ll not take kid to male doctor, ever let him be coached by a man, have a male teacher. We hear about horrible human beings from every walk of life and any field and it’s tragic, no doubt.
However, are you just going to avoid men altogether? Most coaches are guys and most teams are definitely drop off situations.
Im not sure what the ‘little ‘ has to do with it. That disgusting gymnast coach was molesting teenagers right in front of parents.

My kids will not be alone with men, yes.

Same here, at least not when they’re little.

Child molesters are a very sneaky, evil bunch of people, and most often men of course. Parents beware. Always. Never let your guard down when it comes to the safety of your children.
Safe Shores in DC has some really good advice on their website about protecting your child from predators.

Kool aid? That disgusting gymnast coach was molesting teenagers right in front of parents. The world has horrible humans in it. I’m saying that we hear about a teacher every week and it’s tragic. You aren’t with the kids, then, because you drop them off. Performers at parties are there for an hour, then leave. Only time will tell, but even the police have said they don’t believe he had contact with children. I think it stays that way.

Go should go clean out your closet, my friend.

Yes, I’ve been to parties with performances. They set up, in front of everyone, do show and leave. It’s not like the parents disappear from the scene of the party. I stand by what I said. I guarantee you, nothing from a party would come out.

You “guarantee” us Steve h Rossi was never alone with a child before or after a birthday party performance in a busy family home? Perhaps the Fairfax County police department would appreciate you sharing your source.

I am the PP that took his DD to many (maybe 50) performances. I can not speak for any child. But, I can assure you MY CHILD was never alone with him.

his name and the words to the song are disturbing

He’s got several very disturbing songs he liked to sing to the kids. It’s called “grooming” - yes, right in front of the parents. It tends to be very effective for pedophiles. I saw somewhere said “Now he can sing for his fellow inmates.”

But seriously, his vocals are pretty bad. Just search “Mr Knick Knack” on YouTube. His voice hurts my ears, it’s so bad. His “success” was acting goofy with little kids. What a damn genius. And how much were duped parents paying him to show up at their homes?

A lot of people did like his voice, because he’d have lots of people dancing with his songs. I personally think some of his lyrics we’re creepy. He has a song called, ‘obey me’. Grooming is a technique used to eventually isolate a kid and like previous poster said, he’s been to 50 shows and never seen it. He’s not going to be in a position to do that, as parents don’t disappear from scene.

Private birthday parties is where these people make their real money... and have better access to the kids. This guy was very touchy with the kids with lots of hugging.
Public performances is how they market themselves for the private events.

Not true. These mall and public events pay a lot to have performers there. I have a friend that worked for the marketing department at Potomac mills and they would pay their performers in the 400 dollar range.
I have another friend that was a librarian at a branch in Rockville and they would pay anywhere from 300 to 500 for performers. These shows are usually free to the public, but are paying their performers well.

You’re completely nuts if you think the Rockville public library has the budget to pay $500. for a kid show. Now indulgent parents? The sky’s s the limit! Ask Steve Rossi. Or any one of these guys who do the same thing.

Im just basing it on what a librarian told me. The price fluctuated, depending on how popular entertainer was and how crowded library was when they we’re there. Everyone, according to her, wasn’t paid the same.

You and your friend are completely delusional if you think Rockville Public Library paid anyone $500.00 to screech out a few songs and act like a twit with the kids. This man has no vocal talent.

Check your comprehension. No one said that.

Again, public shows is how they market themselves. Private events is where the big money is. And ACCESS to kids where everything is crazy busy in your house. The young birthday boy might feel extra special when he gets to help Mr Huggy load up his equipment after the show. These men should never be hugging the kids. There’s only one kind of man who wants to hug your child after a show. Parents must be vigilant if they go for these kid shows with men.
