Unlike tax returns, no other candidate had to release their birth certificate

No other candidate had on his book cover that he was born in Kenya...........

I agree it was stupid--but, let's not forget where this issue really began.

No. The "book cover" thing only came out in 2012, a year AFTER Obama released his birth certificate. Also, it wasn't his book cover, it was a promotional document created by his publishing house back in 1991 without input from Obama. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthers/booklet.asp

Trying to pretend the birther movement stemmed from this document is flat-out revisionism. It stemmed from the fact that he was a Black man with a funny name and a foreigner for a father. Not, you know, a REAL American like John Sydney McCain III.

The PP is a Bernie supporter who has made full circle to Trump now, so take everything he says with a grain of salt

You all are desperate.
You were so comfortable coronating your opponent, and you are seeing that she just might not win.
The election is not a given for the mighty Hillary and you all are just now discovering that.

Desperate we are not.

Horrified by Donald Trump - we are.

How do you "invite" someone to hack things that have been deleted?

You do know that even "deleted" items are never truly gone off of a server and can be recovered, right?

I was going to say this. How can people not know that deleted emails can be recovered?

My question, why the uproar over “inviting” them to hack something they probably already have?

Think about what you are asking very carefully.... Forget that they may already have the emails....

A possible future President openly invited RUSSIA to HACK another possible future candiates email -

You don't see a problem with this? He is asking them to break the law. He is asking them to attack her and expose her, he's doing a Nixon a'la Watergate via the Russians but worse. He is openly telling them it is okay to be criminals and commit espionage.

How do you not see anything wrong with that?

Because he was being sarcastic. You all are really getting your panties in a wad about nothing. It was a joke. It was an attempt to remind the American people that Clinton deleted emails, after they were subpoenaed. And, he had gotten a ton of free press with this statement (and others). THAT was his goal.

Even if you are right - as a President you don't do that. Seriously. Reagan got caught joking about Russia. But Trump will come right out and say it. NOT APPROPRIATE behavior for the leader of our country.

Trump did not tell the Russians they should hack into anything. You cannot hack into a non-existent server. This is rather basic. He said that if the Russians had the deleted emails they should release them - and in a tweet after the press conference he said they should release it to the FBI.

Semantics. Just stop.

OH, so it wasn't a press conference...it was a comedy routine? This is the spin we're going with to excuse the bullshit he said just today.

Also, I love how r's are cheering on wikileaks right now ... Did you feel the same with the Iraq war info release? Oh, you didn't? Thanks for admitting to being a hypocrite only thinking of scoring political points.

It is more than semantics. Telling anyone to hack into someone's email is possibly a crime.

Trump is now trying to walk back his lies about having met Putin and having face-to-face discussions with him. His dishonesty is compulsive and pathological.

Did Trump followup and say he was being sarcastic? After a flub, he usually comes out and says ," what I really meant was..". I don't think he was being sarcastic. I think he seriously means it, and that's scary as hell coming from a potential POTUS.

Ryan rebuked Trump, saying via spokesperson, Brendan Buck, that “Russia is a global menace led by a devious thug. [Russian President Vladimir] Putin should stay out of this election.”

" Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens. That’ll be next. Yes, sir.”

Sounds like that reward is a cash offer, or is it a political favor involving NATO, idk.

He truly cannot stop himself. He thinks he can lie his way out of everything. Like this shit isn't easily found on video and/or recording

Change that to HRC's dishonesty is compulsive and pathological and you would be accurate.

Face it we have two candidates who both lie - Hillary does it intentionally and Trump, for the most part, does it because he has no filter between his mouth and his brain.
