If you are a scientist, then how do you explain the scientific miracles in the Quran, that was revealed centuries before those were known to men?

If you a a Muslim, can you explain the terrible attacks on civilians like Malala done in the name of Quran?

Where, where? I only saw a bunch of people arguing with one another.

I am a woman actually And that is all good, like i said before , my point is not to convince you, just share my beliefs and if you learn something from it about islam in general then its a bonus, since it is so misunderstood...

Yes, I am a Muslim, newsflash, there are muslim serial killers, muslim murderers, ect.. They do not answer for Islam, nor do they represent Islam, if you want to know about Islam, learn about teh religion, not the Muslims, muslims are people and as such not perfect, they are fallible and do not speak for Islam...

I'm glad I had the insight (luck?) to put "her" first. I have known enough Muslims not to be at all surprised that a Muslim can be thoughtful, wise, and tolerant. Similarly, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, atheists, etc.

I hope the ones telling each other what fucking idiots they are don't mind us intruding in their arguments. Sorry if all my goody-goody stuff is pompous.

The world would be a better place if there were less people calling each other idiots and more people open to just have a normal healthy conversation and learn from each other. Unfortunately, those insulting each other, the intolerant ones more often than not end up being the loudest voices. There can be no understanding where there is mutual rejection. I am glad we had this conversation~

Gee, maybe if you weren't so obviously partisan yourself, people could overlook the smugness that infuses your every attempt to bash everyone else. We have enough hypocritical, smug posters who think they're superior to everyone else (or just to certain sides of the debate) on this thread--we don't need Takoma adding her pompous and biased two cents to the stew.

That was my crabby post you're responding to. Wait, now you're being humble? Humility on the Religion forum? I'm so unused to humility, I have a hard time coping with it!

Thanks, Takoma

I think that when you die everything just goes dark. I imagine it being similar to falling asleep after being restless in bed for a long period of time. It happens out of nowhere and you aren't even aware of it. The only difference is that you don't wake up.

If there really is a god who knows all things, sees all things and who has been able to read the words of my heart from day one...He'll understand why I didn't believe, He'll make a judgment of where I'm supposed to go based on the merits of my life (religious affiliation notwithstanding), and I truly believe I've lived a just life to warrant something other than hell.
