You can. You need to get recommended or sponsored to join. These organizations are about UMC black kids hanging out with other UMC black kids rather than going slumming and hanging with the poor inner city low SES blacks who have the dominant influence in the culture due to hip hop.

Why should that be the fault of Jack and Jill and Links and HBCU’s? Paper bag tests were done because the dominant society was racist and prospects were limited. Have you ever heard of the term “passing?” Many AA were passé blanc and even married white and passed into white with time. There are rumors J Edgar Hoover, Faye Resnick, even John Boehner have ancestry from black people that were able to pass
