That’s not crazy NVA also has 10 |
100% not true, stop trying scare people. You can't possibly know that's true across every team at every club. Offers have started to go out but they're not all out and if you don't have one yet it means nothing. |
KEY players have offers. There will certainly be more offers based on what those key players do but clubs are trying to lock up their top 14 girls. |
If your roster of 20 or so has 14 key players, key doesn’t mean anything. |
That's not the case at every club/team, feel free to volunteer your club/team if you want to make statements like that. |
They won't because it's BS |
| +1 My DD is within the top of her team (including US Soccer invites) and doesn’t have an offer yet from her home club and she’s not worried. Everyone relax and don’t listen to the trolls trying to make these next few months more anxious than they need to be. |
| PP here - to add one more thing - I think it’s great when coaches don’t just dole out offers right away. It makes those kids at the top work that much harder rather than resting on their laurels. |
Why is reading comprehension so hard for people here? I never said Arlington coaches aren’t evaluating. I did say that VDA has significantly more trapped players in this specific age range than ARL. Which means there is more potential movement at VDA. It’s a difference of 1-2 vs 8-10. |
| How is VDA not listening to these August and Sept kids who are in the 8th and 9th grade with the rest of their teammates and not letting them play in their recruiting year? It makes absolutely no sense. You are an ENCL only club. Your job is college recruiting. Keep kids with their graduation class. |
Some kids, and their parents, take it as an affront being "moved down". |
From what I understand VDA is holding hard and fast to Aug 1 which is why there are so many kids impacted. I do not disagree with current 6th graders being moved down to 2014s, etc etc. Parents of self proclaimed elite kids need to chill. Your kid made the team as a younger. Let them shine right aged. |
I agree. There is a lot to be said for a kid to play with the kids they will be graduating high school with in the same year. The kids, and parents, should look at it as an opportunity to show how "special" they are indeed. |
| Anyone who tried out at NVA's indoor sessions last weekend seen any details about the next session? |
You sure about this? MY DD has a top ECNL team offer but has barely played this year coming off an injury. Locking in top 14 makes sense whoever said that more than this US regional id parent |
