Chris Kubasik got fired from Lockheed Martin in 2012 when he was President & COO (and slated to start as CEO) for having an affair with a subordinate (he was married).

Several years later, he was hired to be CEO of L3Harris, a defense company, 57K employees, now making 20M.

Wow, his wife Jane stayed with him. This was published in 2024:

The Kubasik First Impact Program, a pioneering initiative at the heart of student-athlete development, is deeply rooted in the inspiring journey of Jane and her husband Chris Kubasik. Both found their calling in accounting and shared their vows in the UMD Memorial Chapel, a testament to their deep connection to the university as alumni.

Wow, these guys can bring such risk and exposure to their companies, and the next company lines up to hire them and pay them millions.

Maybe they had an open marriage?

A truly open marriage isn't all that common. I do think there are more "don't ask, don't tell" situations. Not hard to fathom the wife already stayed after one affair and the worst part of this isn’t the betrayal it's the public humiliation.

52. Her other surname is Thornby.

Only 52?
People, don’t forget the sunscreen!

I think you need to look around when you're in public. She is clearly above average for age 52. She's clearly in shape and thin. 52 is post menopause, most American women are obese at that age.

Maybe in Texas

On what planet do you live on that Washington is a hotbed of 50-something bombshell moms? The average 50-something mom in Washington looks like Maggie Haberman, Mercedes Schlapp, or pre-Ozempic Mindy Kaling.

I know, this is a hilarious article of faith on DCUM. That middle-aged DC women are hotter than in the Midwest or the South. If only!

I remember an old DCUM thread which asked what do you think the average DCUM user looks like and someone posted a photo of the late Linda Tripp. It made me laugh so hard.

I'm from NYC and definitely find people in DC (men and women) pretty frumpy, but at least in my circles, basically no one is fat. The women might not be bombshells in terms of presentation but they are fit marathoners and pilates devotees. The stats agree.

+1 Good point. Both look like slithering snakes. No one takes the high road to enforce the rules of morality. They look like deceitful pigs. Kick them out of management. They bring nothing but shame and dishonor to the company and their families.

You can't bang stats. The Maggie and Mercedes examples she gave are...thick. (And I don't mean thicc.)

Fake but entertaining.

Cabot his HR chief joined the company nine months ago describing herself on LinkedIn as someone who “wins trust with employees of all levels from CEOs to managers to assistants.” Her title Chief People Officer and that quote has never sounded more ironic.
