It would be interesting to see how many kids applied from each category and then were accepted and the percentages for 2029.

Revealing that would show that the Asian American students acceptance rate is the lowest compared to other race groups. That would be like shooting themselves in the foot.

It would explicitly show the democrats blatant racism against Asian people in Northern Virginia.

FALSE.

It shows that Asian students were accepted at a HIGHER rate than most others.

Some groups can claim discrimination based on disparate acceptance rates, but it’s not Asian students.

The acceptance-to-applicant ratio is about the same for all races. TJ has a lot of Asians because that's the largest group of applicants.

No, there are disparities in the acceptance rates.

Hispanic 21%
Asian 19%
White 17%
Black 14%
Multiracial/Other* 13%

Everyone: don’t believe PP’s democrat lies.

She and her democrat/progressive allies on the FCPS school board already watered-down TJ admissions and diminished the AAP program. But she will lie to your face about it.

Democrats hate TJ and the AAP program.

You are projecting.

Let’s look at the facts. We have actual data from the class of 2025.

Asian students had a HIGHER acceptance rate than almost all other groups, aside from Hispanic students.

Hispanic 21%
Asian 19%
ALL 18%
White 17%
Black 14%
Multiracial/Other* 13%

Facts don’t fit into the RWNJ narrative.

Asian enrollment is now at a historic high.

It may not be the all-time highest enrollment but it’s very close.

47? How did you find that out?

Some. A lot of kids don't take the offer. I personally don't know any that didn't take it but we had 5 kids come off the waitlist last year at our middle school.

For some reason Kilmer did very poorly this year. They sent 35 last year, 30 the year before, and only 13 this year. I wonder why.

How many did kilmer normally send to TJ under the old admission process?

It was in the teens. 19 in 2020 admission. Kilmer is one of the schools that received increased diversity offers with lower math.

oh my i’m so sorry you must be very disappointed. TJ really isn’t choosing the brightest, they are trying to be “equal”…

How many of the kids returned to their base school that came from Kilmer? Maybe they are adjusting admissions based on their experiences from the last 2 years?
