Waitlisted Carson 4.0 Algebra 2 Asian none |
one of 47 waitlisted from Kilmer middle school. does anyone happen to now how many kids are on the waitlist? seems like kilmer has quite a lot on waitlist compared to other middle schools. |
47? How did you find that out? |
Some. A lot of kids don't take the offer. I personally don't know any that didn't take it but we had 5 kids come off the waitlist last year at our middle school. |
For some reason Kilmer did very poorly this year. They sent 35 last year, 30 the year before, and only 13 this year. I wonder why. |
How many did kilmer normally send to TJ under the old admission process? |
It was in the teens. 19 in 2020 admission. Kilmer is one of the schools that received increased diversity offers with lower math. |
Not this year it didn’t. |

oh my i’m so sorry you must be very disappointed. TJ really isn’t choosing the brightest, they are trying to be “equal”… |
Offered Carson 4.0 Algebra 2 Asian None |
How many of the kids returned to their base school that came from Kilmer? Maybe they are adjusting admissions based on their experiences from the last 2 years? |
