Seriously, don't go to TJ. A- = C at TJ. Going to be a rough one.


PP, don’t listen to trolls. Probably a parent who’s bitter their kid didn’t get in. Algebra II Honors in 8th grade will set your child up for the more advanced math courses only offered at TJ.

Why shocked? Too many or too little?
Last year first round announcement was about 29 got in, some reject the offer (including some of the brightest, for various reasons).At the end after the waitlist moved, it end up around 40, include the whole SciOl team.

So basically attending a high SES school that offers more opportunities for enrichment gives students a big edge on TJ offers?

Based on past years, Carson and Longfellow are usually the biggest feeders.. see previous years stats here:
