Your claim (paraphrasing) was that Biden/Dems want only to send money to close allies. Counterpoint was Biden admin sending FEMA aid to mostly Republican states. Let me be clear: I absolutely and totally agree with you on what Trump is and has been doing. I think he is corrupt to the core. You aren’t wrong about anything you’ve written here.

I also think Biden has been corrupt to the core. I think the Democrats been interested solely in preserving the pipeline of tax money to their allies, cronies, and political donors. I do not think Biden is a good person, I do not think he was a good president, and I think we as a nation are going to suffer for years because of Biden’s self-serving corruption, selfishness, and venality. And part of that suffering is Trump in the White House. The Democratic collective refusal to deny truth, to obfuscate in order to keep the money tap open, to suppress language, to make criticism of Biden and the rapacious organizations to whom he funneled money into a moral issue: this chaos and devastation under Trump is our punishment.

What I object to most strongly in this thread is not the observation that MAGA has contempt for empathy. That’s true. What I object to is this conceit, this astonishing lack of self-awareness, that allows OP and apparently others to believe Democrats do not also have a deep contempt for empathy. I find that lack of introspection actually a little scary.

Be honest, Democrats. That’s all you had to do to win. But you could not be honest, so you blew it and based on what I see in thread, are going to keep blowing it.

What exactly in the above are we supposed to be honest about? And how can you claim to be honest when you assert Biden was so corrupt, yet there's been NO evidence to support this. Yes, we all heard the claims, that Biden was taking tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and so on. And we were told, no promised that the Hunter Biden laptop would contain the smoking gun evidence to prove it and that Biden and evil corrupt Democrats and the evil corrupt MSM were all in cahoots suppressing that evidence and keeping the American public from knowing the truth about his corruption.

But what happened? They got the laptop, and it was thoroughly investigated, by the FBI, by independent special counsel, by a House Republican investigative committee... We taxpayers spent MILLIONS having that claim investigated. But what was the worst that any of these investigations found? That Hunter had a drug problem, and that he failed to disclose his drug use on a federal 4473 gun form. And, we also found out that the Republicans star witness who was at the center of claims of Biden being corrupt and on the take for millions LIED. That's it.

So that entire wad of "Biden's corrupt" has been shot and is now worthless and meaningless. So where's your honesty here? Are you honest enough to admit and accept that? Because if you're going to try and keep saying Biden's corrupt, you no longer have any evidence for that, and are going to have to start over at square one and get some entirely new evidence.

My sister is an expat in a nation DCUM would love to move to. We were discussing this and I asked her what would happen if next time we visited, I decided to stay and sent my kids to school with hers. Would we get English-language teachers for them?
