It's actually quite funny to me. Youngkin the republicans are basically trying to get the guy to drop out of the race because of unsubstantiated allegations related a gay Tumblr account. This is only going to hurt Republicans chances of winning even more in VA this year. It just makes VA Republicans seem hypocritical and homophobic. A gay man should drop out because he allegedly shared "lewd" photos of men on social media, so he is not family friendly. But Trump who slept with a pornstar while he was married to his wife is apparently fine and that's not a problem at all. Youngkin clearly doesn't care about morals or family values at all, he just hates gay people.

From what I understand the first attempt to get Reid to drop out was a thread to expose photos of him that would show he was an "abomination" and when he said ok show me the photos they were of him attending a drag brunch show. I am from Richmond (so is he) so I am assuming these were of him at Godfreys, which has held drag brunch on the weekends there since FOREVER, literally like 30+ years. I've been, it's a mainstream thing to do there and the food is really good. Reid said he thought this was ridiculous and said no I am not dropping out.

Then this week, the allegation was that he was behind some old Tumblr account that had photos of nude men (aka Tumblr p#rn, none of the photos were of him) based on the fact that the Tumblr handle name matched his handle name on another social media account. The account was active until yesterday. He said that is not my Tumblr account, I have never had a Tumblr account, you people are insane. That's it, that is all they got. Based on this Youngkin asked him to resign from his campaign.

I have many friends who know him and have known him since high school. He has never been "in the closet" and has been openly gay since all of them can remember. He has also always been conservative and a Republican. He used to have a fairly popular radio show in Richmond re conservative issues and politics. A lot of people know who he is. He is also very smart and politically savvy and his own father was a career politician, so they tell me there is zero chance he would be dumb enough to have anything online, even so much as a Tumblr account with nude photos of random other people and so much as having a matching social media account name. So he's saying I'm being set up, this is a deep fake and a middle school level deep fake at that.

To me this is really pathetic of whatever conservative group is trying to shake him down and of Youngkin for being involved.

The current president literally cheated on his wife with a pornstar right after she had a baby. So this whole thing about this guy not being suitable because he allegedly was watching porn is beyond ridiculous. Youngkin was literally campaigning with Trump and this whole Republican argument about family values is complete sham. They just use “family values” as an excuse to hate on gay people and women.

I don’t get it either and the allegations don’t make any sense but it seems like it was claimed he had a tumblr account that posted photos of nude models. That’s it. I guess if true that would make him a nude photo publisher?

Yes! They are a “real” church now but it is a spin off of what he envisioned an Anglican Church to be after he temporarily worked in England and attended one there. He didn’t think being Epsicopal was enough. I am Episcopalian and about 20 years ago the US version split over the argument re gay marriages/unions and the members who didn’t approve of them started Anglican churches in the US.
